poor packaging then no response from customer service

I'm just about FINISHED with LB catalog.
Sure they have a great selection, but even though I get a new sale catalog every week, with a different front cover, all the same items are there. Then you try to order these "bargains " and find NONE of them are available.! Recently, this winter I finally ordered a new Leather Jacket that I have wanted for several years. I was anxious to receive it to wear it through the holidays. It had a hood edged with fake fur.
So the coat arrives, in a PLASTIC BAG smashed as though it has been stored in this bag for years! I hung the coat hoping the wrinkles would eventually fall out, but I thought the fur was smashed beyond repair. Never did get to wear the coat. 4 months later I call them and catalog suggests I return the coat. I pack it up in original packaging, along with a descriptive letter, and also request a full refund , including the money I paid to ship the trash back to them. They accepted the return but did not return any shipping and handling. This crap has now cost me about $25.00. I tried to call for customer service but can never get to a real person. I took down the fax phone number, wrote a nice letter. 3 weeks later, I have still received no response. Tomorrow I go back to work on this !!!!! Wish me luck!
Oh and germancity lady from other review...I don't think they can legally keep your sales tax. That gets paid to government but since you made no purchase, no sales tax was due.
