I was a bit worried after reading some of the negative reports from a couple of years ago. I called the company and was told they hit a rough stretch back then thanks to a merger or buyout that didn't go smoothly. I chose to believe that and to trust more recent reviews. I ordered my double oven on a Tuesday and was told there was a slight chance it would ship the following Friday but more likely the next Monday. Either way, I would get a confirming email. No email by Thursday, so I called and was told that the delivery company sent out the emails, but they would find out what happened. When I got home, there was a note that the delivery company had come by and no one was home. There was also a voice mail from Witbeck saying the oven was out for delivery and apologizing on behalf of the delivery company. I called the delivery company to arrange delivery the next day and was told the driver would call in the morning when he had his schedule set. He called the next morning from my driveway. My experience with Witbeck was first rate and professional. Their delivery firm- BAX Global- should take some customer service pointers from Witbeck. My order was shipped exactly when Witbeck said it would be. Better performance from BAX would have made things perfect.
