I ordered five bottles of Alexander Valley Cabernet Savignon's for my husband for Christmas. I just received the wines last week and NONE OF THEM WERE ALEXANDER VALLEY wines. They made UNACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTIONS. What started out to be a nice Christmas present for my husband turned out to be worthless to him. So far they have NOT responded to my e-mail stating the unacceptable nature of their substitutions.

The Website allowed me to purchase 3 bottles of wine and 3 days later they sent me an email stating that the order was cancelled with no explanation why. I believe they were selling something that they didn't have and they could have very well stated that on the website. If i had known they didn't have the inventory, I would have ordered the wine somewhere else. Anyway, not much on customer service and won't be purchasing anything else from them.

I had to call the company to straighten out my online purchase due to an error I had made. The people they have handling customers who call in are below average in customer service skills. I never did receive a call back as promised by their Customer Service Department.

I was very pleased with the products offered. I was trying to find a hard to find wine in my area and I was able to get it on winechateau.com. But you must move fast because they sell thru quickly. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Although the site is good, and the prices reasonable, the service is terrible.
I placed my order on 16 December, hoping it would arrive for XMas. I continued to try and track the shipment but no joy.
Sent an e-mail on 21 December requesting an explanationf for why the order had not shipped and got no reply.
Called and finally got a person, and it took 20 minutes for her to figure out the order, and then ask if 3 bottle of '99 and 3 bottles of '00 would be acceptable. I said yes, expecting the order to be shipped in time for New Years.
It is 6 January, and the order still has not shipped.
Needless to say, worst internet shopping experience ever, I will be calling to cancel my order and go elsewhere.
