We contacted Wine.com online to purchase a hospitality gift for our hosts during a recent Florida visit. The order was placed approximately a week or so ahead of our visit. The order wasn't received until after our visit. We inquired as to whether the Estancia brand would be shipped. Initially, we were told no (even though the website let us choose the brand), then we were told yes it was available, then the brand actually shipped was NOT what was ordered. We feel it was a bait and switch tactic. Would NEVER recommend this company and definitely would NEVER shop with them again.

We were very excited to find this wine online, as we had looked a number of places to get it. We made the order almost three weeks ago and are still waiting for a shipping confirmation....which has not happened. And now my husband did find this wine more locally and for a better price!

Most of my experiences with this vendor have been trouble free and met all lmy epxectations. This last order, they were evidently doing inventory when I made the order and the order took over 1 week to be processed. I called to follow-up and received my order shortly afterwards.

I was told there woudl be a delay in my order then a week alter was told they were out of stock. I owudl have preferred finding this when I place my order. FOrtunatley, my credit card was not charged. I may decide to try them again, but I am hesitiant.

My husband and I ordered several bottles of wine back in December from WineChateau.com. We paid extra to have it delivered in two business days and it is now February 1st, 2007 and we still have not received our order. We have contacted them several times, and each time they tell us that the wine is on it's way. We are so displeased with this company and demand to have our money back!

Any positive reviews must be posted by someone associated with WineChateau.com (notice how short the positive reviews are?). The truth is that the people at WineChateau.com are either incompetent or crooks. My experience was the same as most of these people. I didn't receive my wine and they have ignored my phone calls and emails. I finally contacted my credit card company.

I had to contact the merchant to place order (1/1/07) then again before they actually processed the order (1/18/07). They neither explained their tardiness, nor expressed an apology. I won't shop there in the future.

Delivery time was extended and champaign was not included as it was apparently out of stock although no advance notice of this given nor any option was provided to order something else or to take a delayed delivery on the out of stock item. Wine delivered was nicely packaged and good quality but online information about my order was not available to track delivery.

I ordered 6 bottles of the same wine last October. I received a phone call from an indifferent customer service person saying the order would be delayed about 3 months and did I want to wait or cancel my order. I decided to wait. It is almost February of the next year and they have not responded to my inquiries about the status of my order.

Fed Ex left the box down the end of my drive way and I send an e-mail to WineChateau suggesting that in the future, the box be delivered to the house. They said they would protest to fed Ex.

I ordered a gift basket on line. I forgot an item. I tried to eamil and call the merchant with no response at all. No call back or email and I could not reach a person at the # listed. The message said they were closed no matter what time of day I called. I never received confirmation that the item shipped. The receipient did not receive what I paid for. The items were not the items listed on the website, but there is not way for me to contact the merchant. Very Unsatisfied.

I ordered a case of wine three weeks ago which showed in stock on the website and received a order number with shipping information to follow. No follow-up from the merchant resulted, notwithstanding repeated attempts to reach them by email and phone. When I finally reached a salesperson after two weeks, he said the order must have been held up due to the holidays and he would get back to me by phone or email after talking with shipping. He never did. Subsequent emails have not been answered. Accordingly after three weeks of attempts to track down the order, I have zero information on its status. This is very poor service.
