We have ordered many products and very satisfied with all that has been received. This particular kit ordered had a broken wine glass inside the kit itself. We have plenty of wine glasses so it was not upsetting, however if I had shipped it as a gift it would have displeased me.

A little difficult negotiating the on-line catalog. Looked at many windows before finding funnels and screens. Even then, could not tell from the illustration that the funnel drains from the side of the stem instead of straight through. Will have to buy another carafe to be compatible with the funnel.

The only problem I had with the website was that the pictures were not very large & the product descriptions were missing key information - like product size & capacity. The phone attendants were helpful, but when one was not available & they were going to call me back, I never received a call.

We had recently ordered the beautiful personalized tile tray. The lazy susan is also personalized and is just beautiful. Their products are more beautiful than the catalog pictures can produce. My experience with the Wine Enthusiast (through amazon.com) was mixed -- on one hand, they didn't deliver the wine essence kit I ordered as a Christmas gift when they were supposed to, and ignored a phone call and an e-mail placed to customer service when I tried to find out what was happening. (Just as a reference, I ordered the kit December 16, and it was supposed to be mailed December 22, and still hadn't received it as of January 7)

However, when I sent them a second e-mail after placing an extremely negative review on epinions.com and complaining to amazon.com, I received a response that was courteous and apologetic. I was told that the kit was on backorder, and would be sent next day delivery to make up for the atrocious customer service I had previously experienced.
