I purchased a playset for my boys and I must say that I was very impressed.
Willy Goat has the best prices, even when you include the shipping fees. And they offer all the best brand name equipments. The delivery was extremely fast, 4 days after ordering. Their customer service is very helpful and very nice. A few pieces were missing, but they solved my problem in less than 3 days. I was a little scared at first to order, especially after reading some of the reviews but I decided to give it a try. And I sure don't regret it! I will definitely buy again from Willy Goat! And I recommend it to anyone who is on the market for a playset. |

Ordered a Blue Ridge Chateau swing set from WillyGoat. Item arrived in 4 days. The order was shipped correctly. We received a confirmation email and tracking email the same day of the order. Set is great and makes our yard look super. WillyGoat.Com had the set shipped out immediately which made us feel confident in our purchase. So many other times we had ordered online from other web retailers only to be waiting weeks in many cases for the order. With WillyGoat.Com we immediately felt comfortable since we had tracking information the same day. We will tell everyone we know to order a swing set from WillyGoat. The Blue Ridge Chateau will be used by our kids for many years to come. We are very satisfied with this order.

Very disappointing. I tried to purchase a Shelti 315 foosball table - $847, including shipping. A couple of days later they called me to tell me the table was no longer available and that they would offer me $50 off the "replacement" table, the Shelti Pro Foos 1. It is a very nice table (and probably better than the one I bought), but it cost $1099 (which they failed to mention in their e-mail message to me). Their cost on the table was $612 (they mistakenly included this in their message to me), but the lowest they would go on the price was $999. In my opinion, a merchant should offer a free upgrade if they make a mistake, particularly if they are not going to be losing money on the deal, not expect the customer to pay an extra $152. I wouldn't go so far as to say this is a bait-and-switch situation, but something sure stinks.

I didn't have any problems with willygoat. I ordered the windermere playcenter from big backyard out of canada. it arrived promptly from willygoat. all the the pieces were there and i had the set up in about a week. not hard at all. i broke one of the boards during assembly and i called big backyard, owned by solarwave out of canada. i got my replacement part in about 3 days. not bad. i have no complaints.

I ordered a $1600 item and received it in bad condition and missing pieces. It has taken me 2 months and over 16 letters and calls to get them to send the replacement parts and they are still not done. I wish I had read reviews before I ordered. The customer service is nice but not effective, they simply can not get the job done or do not care to get the job done because they already have what they want - my money.

What a nightmare! First they sent me a tracking number that was invalid for a week. When they finally got around to shipping my play set, the slide was the wrong color. Customer service said too bad - nothing that we can do for you. The worst part is that I could have bought the same play set a Walmart.com for less. I wish that I had read these reviews before buying. I recommend that you shop elsewhere.

A VERY BAD experience and it won't happen again to us (too bad I had not seen this site first). They tell you all about their great shipping and customer service. Product arrive (wood swing set) as expected ($160 shipping) but it was missing hardware parts. The offer to send the hardware via regular ship negated that we ordered in time for a birthday party - now it won't be ready for the children. The damaged wood means we assemble and then reassemble when replacements arrive. Now customer service tells me they inform all their customers of the possibility of damage in shipping (they did not in 3 phone calls ever say that). I asked for the President or owner and was told that was confidential information (it is Brian Christ and is public knowledge). They act, after the order is made, like a very low class sub-standard operation. This is much too much money to spend to have less than excellent customer service and high expectations. Willygoat failed at both.

I was very concerned after reading the reviews about willygoat, but they had the best price on the outdoor swingset we were looking to purchase for our son. I ordered the item on Monday and it was delivered Thursday using their standard shipping. One of the boxes was damaged but the wood beams inside were fine - just some scuff marks. We took inventory prior to assembly and it was very easy. The hardware was already sorted, separated, and clearly labeled. There were packing lists in each box to help with the process. We weren't missing anything. Installation went smoothly, the instructions were very user friendly. My son loves it! It is the best we saw for such a great price and will outlast my son's use. I couldn't be more pleased with this set and the overall experience.

We purchased a sled from Willygoat. It arrived promptly and directly from the manufacturer. The problems began when I found it necessary to return the sled. Credit was not issued until I inquired a month after the return was received. When the credit was finally put into motion, the amount was $13 short - which turned out to be the original shipping plus restocking charges, even though the item was advertised as having free shipping.
If you still want to take a gamble on this company, then inquire BEFORE ordering, as to how much you will receive as a refund should you return the item - with the return charge also being at your expense. |

These playsets cannot be together safely, according to three experts I hired to put together the one I purchased. JOANNE, a supposed "supervisor" at willygoat.com, used profanities, was rude, and may have illegally recorded conversations placed in order to correct the situation. This company literally works out of a trailer, and refuses completely to stand behind its product, instead referring everyone to "the manufacturer." Customer service is nonexistent.

Two words...NEVER AGAIN. The Willy Goat team has no problem charging your credit card, yet they neglected to notify us that our item was back ordered. I spoke to a customer service rep. and they assured me that the supplier would ship in the next couple of days and we would receive a shipping number. That was ten days ago and now I can't seem to get anyone to give me a straight answer. I would not recommend these folks to anyone for anything. Please take my advice and find a reputable re-seller.

I was very weary of ordering from Willy Goat after reading some of these reviews so I waited until my friend placed and received her order before deciding to place mine. My friend ordered a playset (Hampton I think) and her experience was extremely positive. Correct product, no missing parts, great customer service and very quick shipment so I placed an order with them as well for the Inglewood playset - my experience was outstanding as well. Correct product, no missing parts, great customer service and GREAT Product! I also couldn't believe how fast their curbside delivery was. My friends swing set looks great as well. Very good construction/sold build - good hardware - much more stable than the Walmart swingsets. I would highly recommend this company for Wooden Playsets.

I ordered an indoor fountain on 12/19/2005. It was very cheaply made so I returned it. The return was sent by UPS, which confirmed delivery on 1/5/2006. I had to phone and email Willygoat several times over the next several months to get my return acknowledged. Nobody ever returned my phone calls although everyone always said they had to check with a supervisor and would call me back later that day or the next. Finally, on 4/21/2006 -- that's nearly four months since they received the return -- I got VISA involved. On 4/26/2006, Willygoat said they would issue a refund -- of only $30 on a $54 item. They tacked on an exorbitant "restocking fee" which is not mentioned in their stated return policy, which claims that they only charge a restocking fee if they have shipped for free. That is not true -- they hit me with shipping both ways AND a restocking fee, in addition to four months worth of interest on my credit card.
Avoid this merchant at all costs. |

On Sept 26 I ordered a wagon for my grandnephew's first birthday. They had the best price and stated 3-4 day delivery. It had to be shipped to Texas. His birthday was 10/1 and I was hoping he would get it in time. Surprise, the wagon arrived on the 28th! It was the hit of the party. Thanks for a great bargain and a timely delivery.!!!

I just received the faux burl jewelry armoire and it is beautiful! I ordered the item Friday, April 1, and was told it would ship in 5 to 7 business days. It arrived via Fed-Ex today, April 8, which was faster than I expected. I knew to be home and expect it today because WillyGoat sent an e-mail to me advising that the item had shipped and provided a tracking number so I would know when to expect delivery.

Fool me once . . . . Willygoat has been added to my list of "Do Not Use" Web Marketers. Still waiting for order (featherbed cover) placed two weeks ago. Still waiting for a response to 3 emails. Have tried twice to contact by phone, cannot get a person on the line. Of course, my credit card has been charged - they are very efficient about that.

Terrible experience. Item was shipped damaged 2 times and was delivered a day late each time. Delivery driver actually stated that packages are damaged all the time and the company doesn't even care. Customer service was pleasant but would not agree to refund my delivery charges or let me speak with a supervisor. I would never ever ever recommend this web site or never consider shopping there again. My son is still without a swing set and we are out shipping charges for an item that was damaged and incomplete. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE.

Ordering was easy. The delivery took longer than they advised it would and they sent me a different product than what was ordered. The manufacturer of the swing set said the item advertised had been discontinued. I advised the VP of Willygoat.com that the item they sent me was incorrect (with all the differences), but they would not send the correct item or compensate me in any way. I have filed a complaint with the BBB of AL. They STILL have the discontinued item listed on their web site.

This was my first time shopping with WillyGoat...and the LAST. I ordered a Peg Perego battery for a train. The picture is the exact battery I need. They sent me Peg Perego's newest battery, which is not only the wrong one, but is nothing like the one pictured. When I called to tell them of the problem, customer service was rude and abrupt. They told me that perhaps they (WillyGoat) had made a "slight modification" of the picture currently listed on their website. It is not a "modification" but a WRONG picture. They will not refund the shipping charges, but my credit card company thinks they are in the wrong and will be refunding my money. Think twice before shopping here. You might not get what you ordered.
