BUYER BEWARE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

INCREDIBLY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE imaginable! I've just been trying to return a damaged lamp, $130 on sale & I've been getting a major run around. I've had to call West Elm & UPS numerous times. I've spent a ridiculous amount of time on the phone with incompetent customer service. The lamp is poor quality-chipped paint & looks like it was spray painted over red letters on a white lamp (made in China). Their Customer Service people really could care less & it's very evident when you talk to them. No apologies. They suggested that I take the lamp to a West Elm store-45 miles away or take it to a UPS location-2 big boxes-in 10 deg. weather. They're trying to place blame on UPS for not picking up, but I've had numerous pkgs. delivered by UPS w/zero problems. I've sat home 3 days in a row waiting for this supposed pick-up. I would rather not ask for a replacement lamp, but it was a gift. I've also gotten several different answers as to when this replacement lamp was supposedly shipped! They pass off their stuff as high-end quality, but it's not any better quality than Ikea. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION!
