Although I'm satisfied with the dehumidifier I ordered, it came with very few explanations about how it worked, and it looks like contacting any type of customer service dept. is going to be difficult. When I viewed the Alen Corp. website it referred to where the dehumidifier was purchased as a "reseller," which sounds like the product is used or refurbished. When I purchased the dehumidifier, I assumed it was new. I'm concerned that if we would have a problem with this product, getting any kind of easy service or resolution could be difficult.

Order placed 4/5/08, received 5/2/08. I called BedBathStore on 4/21/08, was told they could not get into computer bank until 10;00am, she would check and call me back. No call received by 4/24/08, I called again at 3:50pm, was told she would call the manufactuer, to find what was wrong, after making the call, she told me manuf. was closed for the day and did not work on Friday, but she would check on Monday,4/28/08 and email me. No email was received, and I called again on Wednesday, 4/30/08. Was told I would receive order the next day, 5/01/08. I received it 5/02/08. I received an email from Bed/Bath 4/06/08 thanking me for order, nothing after that, (Tracking number, back ordered etc.) Certainly not up the standards of three other orders that I had placed the same day, (4/05/08/) When order finally received, merchanize was very satisfactory.

Your customer service, speed of shipping, and communication were just leaps and bounds above Livingincomfort.com. I never even received any tracking information from that company and wrote to tell them so. I'm extrememly pleased with your company. Keep up the good work.

This merchant is a fraud. Sent me a defective product. I returned it and was only reimbursed for 88% of the purchase price. They kept the other 12% to line their pockets.

I have seen many other reviews where other customers had the same experience. They send a defective or refurbished unit. When it gets returned the customer still gets whacked even though it is no fault of their own.

I chose this unit based on positive customer reviews and their in-house testing. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. Great site. Really helpful content to selecting the air purifier that fits my needs. What I appreciate about this site is that they focus on recommendations and reviews of air purifiers that are designed for different allergy symptoms. I will purchase from their stores again. I didn't know that they had other sites that offer different products other than air purifiers. I will be interested in checking out what else they offer.

Ordered 2 filters, only one arrived. Tracking (only one tracking number given) indicated that the order was delivered. Follow-up with customer service resolved the problem and the second filter was shipped and received. Made me wonder if in the future I should order each item seperately in order to have a seperate tracking order for each. Sounds like a weakness in the process when more than one item is ordered.
