The first time I tried to place an order was over the net. I've ordered from other companies many times before, but this was the most backwardsass system I've come across thus far. I added my items to my cart, followed directions, entered shipping and payment information and hit submit....only once and received a confirmation. Normally, I print my invoices to reconcile my credit card statements, but this time, I was on my laptop and had no access to my printer. A few days pass and no order confirmation e-mail. A few more days pass and nothing, so I call to check my order. Go figure, can't find a thing.
So, I place another order over the telephone on Friday afternoon, 03/27/09. I was not told at the time of the order that anything was out of stock. Assuming this business is not open or does not ship on weekends, I was expecting my order to ship the following Monday, March 30. It did not ship until Wednesday, April 1st and I received again no notification at the time of order or via e-mail that my order would be delayed. I called to check on order status Thursday, April 2 to see if anything what was the cause of the delay of my shipment. I was notified by the CSR that if something was out of stock they do not send out partial shipments and will hold the shipment until the order comes in.
SOMETIMES they will notify the customer, but only if it will be longer than a couple days and then give the customer the option to edit or cancel their order. What kind of outfit is this?
I called back 10 minutes later after thinking about this and requested a refund of the shipping charges. Guess what? They wouldn't honor it.
