At first, I was very excited about shopping with Vitadigest...I was buying some hard to find items for my son for Christmas (hamster habitat sets). They had what I wanted at a good price. I placed my order and everything was in stock. Ultimately, I got two emails about the order. One, confirming the order was placed and one letting me know that the order had shipped. On the emailed invoices, everything I ordered was listed and was showing that it was shipping out.
I get my order but one piece is missing...the most important part of my order (the cage) and the reason I had decided to shop with them to begin with. The item was also missing from the invoice and I see that I was only charged for the items sent. I immediately called customer service and get a very bored sounding person who then tells me that the item wasn't in stock after all and that I was not charged for it.
At no time did I recieve any kind of notification, email, or phone call letting me know that they did not have my item. I asked the customer service rep. why they didn't notify me and all I got was, "oh, sorry." Now, I have lots of accessories to go with a hamster cage, but no cage and this is to be a Christmas present. The rep could have cared less.
This is so unacceptable! Beware when shopping with them. I wish I read some of these reviews before I ordered from Vitadigest.
