Very big improvement in overall experience and a better shopping experience than most companies I order from. They answer the phone quickly, my order was placed in a few mins and 4 days later I had my shipment. Prices cant be beat either!

My first order with vitacost went without a hitch so I placed a second large order of shakes, bars, and supplements. 3 out of the 5 supplements were missing and yet still listed on the invoice. There was no mention of a back order.

I called the 800# and selected "check order" on the menu and talked to a customer rep right away. She said they would replace the missing items and gave me a replacement number.

The prices are low but I doubt I will shop here again. However this turns out, I don't need the aggravation.

The missing items came Priority Mail at no extra charge so I will consider ordering again.

Overall, Vitacost prices cannot be beat. They have upgraded their system and their customer service substantially. I just spoke to Joe W. and he took care of my problem with the utmost professionalism. The shipping dept. on the other hand needs some work since I have had to call twice to submit a complaint regarding the packaging of my items. This last order contained three boxes of toothpaste, two of which did not arrive intact, and looked like they had been cut open with a box knife. One of the tubes also looked like somebody put it through a workout;the tube was crushed and it did not look new.

I always shop here for supplements due to some of the lowest prices anywhere on the net and you cannot beat 4.95 for shipping on any size order. Give them a shot to prove themselves to you.

Everything I ordered arrived in just a few days. The vitamins I ordered had a long shelf life left on them. This is a great place to order from if you are looking for premium vitamins and a great price.

We have shopped at Vitacost for two years, and have NEVER had a problem with them. Vitacost has excellent service, fast delivery, quality products (especially NSI products), and great discount prices. We also appreciate the nice variety of kosher products. Based on our own experience with this company, we can say that you don't have to be hesitant about shopping at Vitacost! They truly deliver quality products at great prices!

I had no problems with several supplement orders from Vitacost. Then I received an order that had several bottles with broken capsules in them. Vitacost customer support offered to replace only one of the bottles and told me to take the others anyway. Email with them is very, very slow but you might still want to use it if you want a record of their response to your problem.

Awful ordering experience ! Order placed 5 days ago still hasn't shipped. I called customer service for 3 separate days and each time they lied to me telling me that "the order was shipping that day"! I even tried to ask for a manager for an explanation but no one ever called. The last rep (#4) finally fessed up and finally told me that they're still not sure when the order will ship. The so-called "24 hour response" is non-existent. If the company is having problems shipping an order, they should just be honest about it and explain, but they shouldn't consistently LIE to a customer that an order has already shipped.

i order two bottles of vitamins from vitacost about a month ago. i received an order confirmation and a shipping confirmation via email but nothing actually arrived. the shipment tracking system, provided by ups, claims my vitamins were sent to florida when i live in maryland. the company will not respond to my emails and they have charged my credit card. this company, as i am quickly beginning to realize, is a scam. do not order from them, i canceled my credit card (to avoid further fraud), and advise others to beware

Ordered a bunch of Atkins products at this site. HALF of all the cans of Atkins shakes were SERIOUSLY DENTED and unusable. Threw them away. There was very little packing material in the box, they just stacked the packages of shakes in the box and mailed it. All the ones on the outside of the package were wrecked.

Will never order from this site again.

Great website with a lot of brands at really low prices. I also enjoy reading the free science info written by medical doctors to learn about which nutrients are safe and beneficial. Their NSI brand saves me another 50% off of the wholesale prices of other brands. Great service with quick delivery.

I asked to be contacted by Customer Service and have not received any reply from them yet. I ordered 8 jars of the fruit spread and one was broken. I asked to have it replaced. I will still order from VitaCost because this is the only place I have found the fruit spread. I became acquainted with it at my local grocery store but they quite stocking it. Other than the non-response to their survey, I am satisfied with the company. I had planned on calling Customer Service but since I could do it through their survey, I saw no need to make the call.

Vitacost has great prices, polite reps, easy to navigate site with a great variety of products, and a great returning customers system.

The problem tends to be with shipping, they can't tell me where my product is, and it's been a week without recieving my orders.

I was told to wait untill 10 days have passed since the order date, and reorder if my products have yet to arrive.
I shouldn't have to wait 10 days, because they claim it only takes 3-7 days.
I also should not have to reorder, why not just send them automaticaly ????
Also, my account was charged, and I am still waiting for a product/s that THEY don't even know what has happened to them or where they are.

I will give them a couple of more days(seeing it's the holidays), but will want my money back before too much time passes and run the risk of getting ripped off, assumeing I haven't already.

I WILL be back to give an up date.

Absolutely terrible, don't deal with these nuts. They send you a confirmation about an order, but never ship it or charge your card. When emailing customer service, no response. Nice website, but no product or support. Beware stay away....
