I placed my order and it was confirmed. I waited for it to arrive. When it didn't I contacted VitaCart and was told it was on "back-order". They never bothered to notify me that they didn't have it in stock. Had I NOT contacted them, God only knows when I would have heard about the status of my order. This is not a good way to do business!

I ordered a product here because I was unable to find them anywhere else. Then i find out they are not in stock there either, they just have not updated it and I have to wait for the manufacturer. They did however give me an option to continue to wait or get something else instead.

I ordered a product that I depend on for my blood pressure control. After receiving an email telling me to expect the product in 3-5 days, I had not received in 2-3 weeks. When I contacted them by email, they did reply right away & told me that the item was on backorder. It would have been better if they had let me know that sooner. I did go ahead at that point & order from someone else, & received that order before the VitaCart order which had been place much earlier.

I recommend to this merchant to use US Priority Mail instead of First Class Mail. Also they should try to ship on a daily basis. My order was placed on Oct 8, today is Oct 15 and the package is still in CA. The delivery address is in PR. It seems it's going to take few more days to receive it.

"The jury is still out" on this purchase. I placed the original order on 4/12/11. I requested notification if the product was NIS. I received an email notifying me it was NIS. I called and changed the order from bulk powder to capsules. The person assisting me was very good. It is now a week later. There's been another phone call and the item is still NIS. I've said I WOULD shop with VitaCart again (#7) but I'm not sure yet.

The products I received are in good condition, but I still don't have everything I ordered, more than 2 weeks later. They said they ship in 2-3 days; they shipped after one week, and the order I eventually received was missing two items. They didn't answer my first two e-mails when the order hadn't shipped. I had to call. They never notified me that the order would be incomplete. I had to e-mail again. The customer service people are polite enough, but they don't seem knowledgeable (or maybe not truthful). English was understandable, but probably not their first language. I have been ordering supplements online every month for several years, so I know what to expect as far as shipping time and customer service. This is my first order from Vitacart, and they don't measure up to previous retailers.

I placed my order in response to an email from Vitacart that the item was in stock. After 5 business passed, I inquired about the status of the order, to be informed that the item was out of stock with no estimated time of arrival. I would help enormously if the customer was informed right away that the item was out of stock and the order was completely cancelled. This the second time this has happened with this supplier. They need to simply establish a link with inventory and web-based display of database real-time inventory data.

My order was placed on March 27, 2009. I called to ask about a tracking source to see where my products were on April 3, 2009. It seemed to be a mystery to the employee as to what tracking was all about. Finally someone said they would call me back possibly later in the afternoon to give me information. I had to call them back after 4PM to get the answer that I was sent an email. I received the email about 6:30 with a tracking number from UPS. The informaion on the UPS tracking page said the order was delivered to them for pickup on APril 3, 2009. (The order was placed on March 27th as stated above.) UPS states that they will deliver on APril 9, 2009. I can't tell you in what condition it will arive or if it will arive at all. I have ordered supplements and vitamins from other sources like the Vitamin Shoppe with much better service and more informed employees on the phone. This will probably be the last order to go to this merchant.
