Order for son was delayed - your database search function was used to find Doctor's name at the optometrist used but this was incorrect resulting in order rejection. The prescription was faxed (with illegible name) and the order revived but shipping was slow and could not be upgraded to expedite. However, am satisfied with product and price.

I wish the discount coupons were available to Canadian customers. If I lived in the USA, I would have had an additional amount off each of the orders I've placed!

I occassionally purchase items from the internet, but I have never ordered contacts. My coworker told me about vision direct. After I checked out the site, located my hard to find contacts, and compared them to my usual purchase place at a store, I found a large savings. I had even purchased a savings card to save money and vision direct was less expensive than that:) Thank you for that. My son needs contacts, so I will be ordering his next.

I am uncertain if I would use this vendor again. It took nearly 1 month to receive the contact lenses. I called and requested my order be sent by Fed Ex and was told they did not have a Fed Ex account.

The essential problem is that this merchant does not provide useful feedback. I've ordered from them a dozen times without problems over five years. This time nothing happened a week after I faxed the lens prescription. A phone call revealed the fax had not been received. Their online system said only the order was "pending" or "in process", neither of which meant anything to me. At the suggestion of the cust serv agent, I emailed the prescription to them, and got the lens as expected in four days. This merchant would be better if they provided email feedback, as others do. I didn't even get email feedback to my email transmitting the prescription, even tough I asked for receipt acknowledgment.

There was error in the system when I was trying to purchase the contact lenses.I wasn't supposed to be charged with shipping because I ordered more than $99 but the shipping charge couldn't be removed. I had to call customer service,the first customer rep. wasn't very nice, didn't sound like he wanted to help me, so I deleted my previous order and did another order but I was still being charged with shipping. I called again and I asked customer rep. #2 who seemed nice if he can just credit me the shipping charges and that's what he did. I saw a credit in my credit card once the item was shipped.

For the price...it stated an 'as low as' price if I purchased 8 boxes. So I obviously thought that was the price I would be charged if I purchased 8 boxes. When I checked out, that low price wasn't the price it charged me. After I phoned them, they informed me that the price included the rebate. That was very deceiving. It didn't say that anywhere visibly. Also, the contacts I was ordering, didn't state in the facts how long you can wear them for.

Took a little longer than I initially expected from the time the order was placed until it was received. Customer service informed that lenses were not in stock and took a few days to receive from manufacturer. Easier to track progress after the order was placed in shipment.

I had a problem with the perscription but it was not the fault of Vision Direct. I had to contact them to advise of the change & get a new perscription. The person who I spoke with was very helpful. He told me all I would have to do was call back & give my order number & they would complete my order with the new perscription. I didn't have to go through & reenter the order again. Good experience all around. My experience last year was also good which is why I chose to do business with Vision Direct again.
