Order was apparently backordered but I wasn't notified. Website finally indicated it was backordered when I checked my account after not receiving item almost 2 weeks after it was ordered (but no timing estimate listed). VetAmerica

I received an email notice of a delay. Having received no further update,,I called the merchant two weeks later and was informed the item was on backorder from the manufacturer and that they (the merchant) were moving so order shipments may be further delayed. I would have appreciated an email letting me know the approximate time I would have to wait for the product so I could make alternative arrangements in the meantime. The product is an essential supplement for my pony and I did not want it to run out.

I've tried to give allivet.com the benefit of the doubt over the past year, but I've had enough! I've ordered medication for my dog through the website before and have been shipped the wrong medication, the wrong vet's office has been contacted in the past for prescription requests, and I was actually HUNG UP ON while calling to cancel an order. They are incompetent and I will never order from them ever again

I only chose VetAmerica because they claim they ship 98% of their orders next business day and if the order is on backorder the customer would be notified.
I paid for expedited shipping (2-3 business days) and it took VetAmerica 9 business days to get my order to me! I understand that things happen but at least keep the customer informed. Obviously, my order was important enough for me to pay expedited shipping fees. I had to emailed them twice asking for the status of my order before somebody finally got back to me 3 days later! I requested a refund for my expedited shipping charge which they gave me but still charged me for regular shipping. Not how I would have handled the situation. Needless to say... I will not shop at VetAmerica again. |

I ordered two products (non-prescription). A few days later I got a form letter saying "the product you ordered is out of stock, good bye". Did not say which of the two was out of stock, did not give an estimated date when it would be available. Very clear that my order was not important to them. Fortunately, that experience forced me to look at other pet supply websites and I got what I needed cheaper and faster! Goodbye VetAmerica. It has a horrible website, too.

I placed an order for a milk replacement product for a dying animal for overnight delivery. The next day I received an email that they did not stock the product even though they took the order promising overnight delivery. They said it would now arrive in 2 to 3 days. It arrived 7 days after ordering. I was still billed a $50 overnight fee. After several attempts I made to contact them, Anna in customer service didn't understand why I had a problem this. I had to resolve this through my credit card company.

They sent an email saying one item was on back order but they were holding the entire order until all items were available. Then I heard nothing for almost 2 weeks. I finally received part of the order with a note that some products were indefinitely out of stock. Prices had also increased substantially when compared to a previous order.

Always excellent service and delivery. Have ordered from them for several years and will continue to do so. Much cheaper than trying to buy the products locally. Have never had a problem with shipping/receiving or quality. Quick notification if order is going to be delayed (rare) and quick notification on shipping.

When I placed my order, the website said my item was in stock. Late the next afternoon I receive an email saying that it is not in stock and it will be 1-5 additional days before it can be shipped. It took 2 weeks to receive my order. When I went back to the website, I could not find any information for tracking the order. It took far too long for a simple tub of iodine ointment.

I was able to find what I was looking for, however, it was back ordered, and I did not find that out until about a week after I ordered the product. It would be more helpful to know that prior to ordering.
This was the second time I ordered something from VetAmerica, and both times, I inquired as to the expected ship date at about 2 weeks after I ordered. Both times, the order shipped the day I inquired about it. Maybe a coincidence, but it just seems like 2-3 weeks before my orders were shipped, after placing the order.

I received an email order confirmation, but never a shipping confirmation email. So, when the product didn't arrive, I left a phone message that was never returned, nor was an email sent (I gave both phone number and email in my phone message. Just a day later the product arrived. The price was right, so I would buy from them again - but I found the non-response to my call disheartening - I worried for a day that my credit card was charged and I'd been dooped.

Excellent prices and services--- There apparently was a minor delay, but the company notified me that there would be in a very timely manner. I received the product, and if they hadn't told me about the delay, I would not have been aware of it. Have used company before and would do so again. All my experiences with it have been positive.
