The worst on-line shopping experience I have ever had. Actually, it was the worst customer service I have ever received from any company at any time. Venting Direct should be banned from doing business. Their company's policies border on being criminal. I ordered and paid for my hood. It was sent out a week later than they originally promised. Once it was sent, it was damaged at a Fed Ex warehouse. They sent it back to Venting Direct. Venting Direct had the damaged hood for three weeks before they admitted that they had it. They refused to send me a replacement until they actually got their claim check from Fed Ex. Now, remember, I still had never received the product. I placed over forty calls and was treated rudely, dismissed, told that I was stuck and that I could not even cancel my order until they got their money from the shipper. One manager went so far as to tell me that it would take an additional 30-60 days for their claim to process with Fed Ex. When I called Fed Ex, they said that it was 5-7 days, max. Out of my 40+ calls to Venting Direct, they only called me back three times after they promised to. When they did return my calls, they were consistent in telling me that their company policy prevented them from actually treating me fairly. Over six weeks later, I received my range hood. The product is fine, but certainly not worth the hassle and frustration that I went through. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE- DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
