WARNING!!!! Horrible Customer Service, Purchased over $2000 in products and paid for two day shipping. It took Vanns 6 days to ship the items and with the weekend the items did not come until 10 days after order. This is after they charged me $130 for shipping. Do not buy from them, complete rip off!!!!

The overall service with Vanns was positive. The delivery speed was very quick. I ordered my item and it arrived a day sooner than expected. They did mess up my order and sent me a Garmin GPSMAP 60 C instead of the 60 CS. I was a little bummed because I wanted to play with a new toy but I can see how someone could make that mistake. When I called to tell them about the mix up they were quick to send me a return label for UPS via email. All I had to do was print it out, tape it on the box and drop it off at a UPS store. The customer service was great and overall I would shop here again.

Vanns.com outperformed what I expected. for the price, the service and quick delivery way exceptional. I order my TV on a Wed. and received it on Sat. Wonderful!

I was a little hesitant to make such a big purchase over the internet. So, I researched the internet for the company with the best price and best reviews and Vanns won my business. Although a couple buck higher than the lowest, the piece of mind I had was well worth it. I still paid 20% less than the local big chain electronic stores in the end.

Very good company to deal with. Customer Service excellent. Purchased a digital camera, hoping to get it for Christmas. Service was so good, we received the camera one day earlier than scheduled. We had no sales calls, to upgrade, or sell us more equipment. Pricing was good and in the ball park of other internet companies. Received order in perfect condition. We are already using the camera. I ordered a DVD player from them. They gave a very good price and free ground shipping. I received emails as the order progressed. The DVD player came exactly on the day specified on the order. The DVD player was also double boxed in a Vann's box. A nice touch.

My wife and I are expecting our first child very soon and we decided it was time to order the new Samsung duo cam.I did a lot of research on the net looking at products and online companies. Vanns caught my eye based on the majority of favorable reviews, great prices and what was said about the other online retailers by customers.I did wonder a little about dealing with a company way off in Montana knowing that my cousin Vinny wouldn't help me out if something went wrong (just kidding). They seemed reputable and I think it would be better than dealing with a company say located in the Bronx, New York. I sent my order off early Thurs. morning before they opened and paid for the three day shipping(wanted some practice in case the baby came early). Looking at the tracking info (I think it has something to do with my old software saying it wasn't a secure sight)I saw that the order was processed that day and picked up in the evening by Fedex and they knocked on my door the next day (Friday). I tried to order my video camera from 5 other internet stores. All of them did the bait and switch. Not Vann's they advertised a customer return special on a Panasonic DVR-M50 cd video camera. I took the chance and bought it. No call me to verify, no trying to sell me over priced stuff. Had a tracking number the next day. Two days later had my camera. Works perfectly. I will buy from them again. Thank you Vann's for being one of the very, very few honest business on the internet.

I hate to do this, since they have such good reviews, but I cannot help myself....just got off the phone with one of their CS rep....so here's the story: I ordered a digital camera from them six days ago. They did not have the cheapest price around, but they came highly recommended, so I went with them. Ordering process was nice and easy, they did not try to sell me anything else...I got the camera today....guess what...the shipped me a wrong camera...called CS, they acknowledged their fault immediately and issued me an RMA. I asked them to ship me another one over night at no additional charge for me, since it was their fault...no can do.....wanted to charge me another $23 for that, even wanted to charge me $8 for two days shipping...very unacceptable....
Took my business to etronics, where by the way the camera is $10 cheaper, and they come just as highly recommended. I am very disappointed, and will NOT do business with Vann's again.

I recently purchased a digital camera from Vanns and everything having to do with the process was excellent. The Vanns Rep (Jay) was very polite, knowledgeably answered all of my questions, did not try to sell me any extras, and made me feel like a valued customer. The camera was delivered to me across the country in six days and the shipping was free. If you have ever ordered from one of those East Coast stores, you will be very pleasantly surprised with how much different, and how much better it is dealing with Vanns.

Excellent experience with this vendor. Had no problems. Called and ordered the camera on Monday, received it today (Thursday) as promised. Camera was NIB as I asked and works perfectly. I bought two JBL Northridge E 80 speakers from Vanns and had them a week after they were ordered. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to buy electronics. I put my order in on the phone and there customer service was kind and they knew about the products that they were selling. I only paid $467.48 for the two speakers and I have seen them advertised for $600.00 not including tax or shipping at other stores. The speakers that I ordered are high quality and sound excellent (the people next door even tell me how loud they are). I will be buying many more things from Vanns in the future. Also, I like that free shipping that Vanns has going on.

I ordered a VCR for $119. It was not the lowest price but it was a very good price. I did not go for lower priced companies due to either bad reputation,lack of company info, or they were from New York (I've had too many bad experiences from NY companies - my apologies to the good ones out there) The VCR was ordered on April 5 and received via FedEx on April 12 in Georgia. Shipping was Free! The VCR box was in a larger box which had above average insulation but could have been better. The product sent was what I ordered and it works fine. Until something goes wrong with these people, I'll buy here again.

I had finally decided on a digital camera to buy for my daughter for a college graduation present. Unfortunately, the camera wasn't in any store in Northern Kentucky or Cincinnati.

The lowest price I found online was actually $10 less than at Vann's, but the vender didn't have a good rating. Vann's was the next lowest price and was dramatically lower than most others, making me wonder whether they would be dependable.

I called the 800 number to make sure they had the camera in stock, in the color I wanted. The website said delivery would be in 7 to 10 days. The clerk on the phone said it would probably be delivered on the following Friday - 5 business days.

The camera came today, Friday, just as promised was well packed and all I could ask for. It was shipped UPS and I could follow its travels online all the way. I would definitely buy from them again.

Just a quick note about delivery speed. I ordered the Onkyo S767DVC on 02/17/04 from south of Los Angeles, CA. I got shipping information on 02/18 with a scheduled delivery date of 02/23. It was delivered on 02/20. Three days from Montana to California. I think that's great. Hope the product is as good as the delivery. More when I get it set up.

Absolutely FRAUD, I order on Jan, 21st, 2004, 4 bose lifestyle 50 systems. They charges my credit card $9143 dollars. they never shipped the order and i still have not received the credit.

So they took my $9143 dollars and sent nothing and when i called they simply stated that they wont sell to me , i then asked if they really had them in stock and they didnt answer.

I think they are a bait and switch outfit and i STRONGLY suggest to stay away from them.

I cancelled my order with 6ave.com because of an extraordinarily long delay in shipping my order. I re-searched epinions and was pleasantly surprised by a price discount from Vanns.com on the receiver I wanted (JVC RX-DV31SL). I placed my order on Friday, and the very next day I received a shipping notice that says Fedx Ground has my package and will have it to my by Wednesday! My confidence in Northeastern retailers (New York and New Jersey predominantly) has never been too high, but based on this experience, Missoula, Montana is clearly a better alternative. In the future, if Vanns has it, I will buy it there, even if I have to pay more.

I purchased a :Panasonic DMR-E100HS (DVD recorder)for $799. It lists for $1200 on amazon. I ordered it on 1/3/2004 and it arrived in Raleigh, NC on 1/9/2004. No tax or shipping charges. I was able to track the delivery with FEDEX. I thought I had a defective unit at first due to a mistake of my own making but when I called Vanns they were ready to take it back & give me a refund. I called Panasonic (Excellent support !) and they got me straightened out after several calls. The product is great & I would use Vanns again if they were the low price provider.

My first purchase with Vanns.com was not very good. The rep. was rude and unprofessional and the whole operation seemed a bit shady. The item shipped, not very quickly, and I had to keep contacting them regarding tracking number, etc. Their prices forced me to order from them again but this time it was a better experience. It shipped within a day or so and I was kept up to date with several emails. All other purchases have been just as satisfactory, though I try to do as much of the ordering as possible via. the website because of poor phone customer service.

I placed my order on Monday 10:00am, and had shipping confirmation and a UPS tracking number by Monday afternoon. I received system on Friday (Montana - Los Angeles). The Kenwood HTB-505 is exactly what I had ordered, excellent condition. I also needed speaker cables, and the sales rep didn't mislead me on that either, I got exactly what I needed. Overall, the price I paid is about $100 less than the nearest competitor. With free shipping I was suprised that the unit arrived as quickly as it did.
