BEWARE! Vanns.com sent Damaged Item - Zero Customer Service - No Response To Problem.

I purchased an Infinity TSS-1200 home theater system for $500.00. The item arrived distressed and damaged and had been exposed to moisture/water. I called Vanns.com customer service on the same day of delivery and requested an RMA to return. The customer service telephone was forwarded to a voice mailbox. I left a detailed message. I also sent (2) emails requesting an RMA to return the damaged item.

Vanns.com did not respond.

This review is praise for Vann's.

Ordinarily I have little time or interest in reviewing a store. But with expensive internet purchases one has to be more prudent. Years ago the pursuit of a cheap price put me in trouble when I was conned by AAA photo (solved by a phone call to the CC issuer).

So while Vann's ratings are very good, still I was a touch hesitant to order from the internet rather than pay much more from Best Buy in order to have comfort knowing they were around the corner.

I placed an order for a 46" Panasonic Plasma TV Monday night. Vann's approved my order Tuesday morning. Wednesday I was stunned when Fed Ex call me to schedule delivery. Thursday afternoon I was watching it. I live in NM and usually items take about a week to arrive. But the route to MT may be better(?).

Anyway Vann's service was excellent.

Excellent experience. Vann's is an extremely professional organization. They ship orders promptly, usually the same day. They also email customers promptly with shipping instructions and their products are excellent and affordable.

I wanted a second i-pod sound dock for my home. I enjoy my Bose but wanted the Klipsch iGrove as my second unit. At Google Products I found Vann's had the BEST PRICE. Great! I ordered the set and was amazed there was no shipping or handling for UPS delivery. I was head over heels when my order came one week later at a total price of $99.00. Great service and a great product!

This company is very prompt in processing and very customer focussed. First off, the web site was easy to navigate and ordering was very simple. This is no bait and switch order company. What you see is what you get. Unfortunately I realized that I really need to get the later model (46SE94U instead of 46D92U ) and had to cancel it the next day. They were still very friendly and were able to help stop the shipment promptly and refund payment. No Hard Sell nothing.

I did a lot of research before I bought my digital camera (Panasonic Lumix FZ18) and Vanns.com had great reviews, the best price, no sales tax and free shipping so I decided to check them out. Their website was easy to use, had great descriptions of the products and the price of the camera was a lot lower than anywhere else I checked. I was even able to order a package deal with flash card, extra battery and camera case for the same price I would have paid at my local stores for the camera alone before sales tax. I was impatient, so I paid the $10.31 to get 3 day select shipping. I placed my order over the weekend, was approved and shipped out on Monday afternoon. I was supposed to receive my order on Thursday, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived on Wednesday morning! Everything I ordered was there and in great condition. I am very pleased with the service I've gotten and will definitely order from Vanns.com again!

I was looking for a digital camera to purchase on line and found it at the best price from Vanns.
In the past I had some bad experience trying to purchase cameras on line from other stores so I was hoping for a better one this time.
I was not disappointed ... Great customer service and great prices. I will come back again to shop from them.

I ordered a number of expensive components and accessories from Vann's. My sales representative was great to work with, no pressure to buy extra items, and kept the transaction within my budget. Vann's had the best price on the Onkyo CD player by far. I saved $40.00 over Circuit City, which had the next best price. The website is fast, complete, and easy to use. Extremely fast order processing and shipping. I ordered it Wednesday morning and it was in my hands, connected, and playing by Friday afternoon. And the shipping was free. Awesome! I am experiencing the same problem with this company many others are also experiencing. They are good about shipping the initial order out..but if something is wrong with the product after it arrives, (as in my case..they shipped the WRONG TV!)..you are going to have a hard time. No..wait..you are going to have a VERY hard time. Ive called customer service many times...and this is where your problems will start. Promises..promises..they said once they got the UPS tracking number they would ship the correct tv out the next day..well..its been 3 days now..and calling customer service is like calling a brick wall. I would not recommend this company due to thier poor customer service.

I recently purchased a Panasonic 58" plasma Tv on Vann's website. Everything went GREAT! Lowest price available. No followup sales calls, no harrassment. I made the order 3/23 and the TV arrived 4/3.
