Did not honor warranty

I ordered a product from Vann's that said it had a 5yr warranty. The product broke, and they would honor the warranty because they had made a mistake on what they printed on their website. That doesn't seem very fair to me. You should be more careful with your displayed warranty information, or honor your promise.

Called to discuss purchase of Samsung Plasma PN63B590. First talked with "Dustin." He patiently answered all questions. I then had to go measure space to make sure tv would fit. Returned call and received Noel. Both were outstanding. They answered all questions, including the concern some buyers have had about "buzzing" on Plasma's. Instead of acting like it wasn't a problem, Noel explained what the buzz was from and acknowledged that a low percentage of units had a buzz. If I received one that did, Vann's has a return policy allowing dissatisfied customers to return within 15 days. Noel was extremely knowledgeable. My first experience with Vanns and was favorably impressed. Now....lets wait for delivery to solidify the entire experience.

I normally avoid purchasing large expensive items online for fear of receiving a damaged or defective item and the hassle of returning it. Vann's had the best price for a Samsung 32" HDTV I was looking at so I took the plunge with my fingers crossed. I was pleasantly surprised that I soon received a follow-up call, for security reasons, due to the fact that the delivery address was different than the billing address. I explained that it was a Xmas gift for my husband, hence the secrecy. The purchase went smoothly, expeditiously and I was completely satisfied. I would purchase from them again and recommend them to anyone else who is hesitant for the same reasons.

Totally confused about the right camera to buy for my wife. The VANNS team stepped up! I bought the bad a$$ Panasonic DMC-FZ35K. its a 12.1 megapixel 18X OPTICAL zoom dream camera that shoots 720P VIDEOS ALSO! I couldn't believe the pictures and or the video quality. This team knows their $hit. I wouldnt spend my money anywhere else.

No complaints here! I just bought a Sony DSC 220 and received by far the best deal on the web. Vanns included a 512 MB memory card for free along with no tax and free shipping. The producted shipped out the same day I purchased it. I opted to pay for the three day shipping and the delivery was even a day early! I recently purchased a Klipsch cs700 and 37 inch lcd tv from Vanns. I was very impressed with the overall experience. While researching the home theater system I couldn't find dimension information anywhere so I sent info requests to a couple online stores and Vanns was the first to respond. I found their prices to be very competitive, especially when coupled with no tax or shipping charges. After my order was placed I liked how they sent multiple updates when each step of the order fulfillment process had been completed, and I was very impressed when I received the order two days later! They are going to be my first stop when shopping for electronics in the future.

I first heard about Vanns through the Onkyo website. The Vanns website is well organized and easy to navigate. In my case Vanns was competatively priced with another online retailer with a Denon reciever but were a little higher on a Polk Audio center channel speaker. I called the customer service line on a Saturday afternoon. The customer service person was very helpful and offered to price match the speaker I was looking for. The order was shipped on the following monday and recieved thursday of the same week. All phases of my transaction were documented by e-mail and I was given a federal express tracking number. I am very impressed with the value, speed and service of Vanns.

Wow! Fantastic online shopping experience. Ordered a 50" panasonic plasma on Sunday evening. Best online price I could find, free shipping, no sales tax. Estimated shipping by freight carrier was one week. On Monday, I got several status updates from Vanns stating that my card had been approved, and the item was shipped. Went online Monday night to check the estimated delivery date, and it was scheduled for delivery Tuesday afternoon by Fedex Freight! I live about 700 miles from Vanns shipping facility, and got free overnight delivery of a large freight item! Arrived in perfect condition, not a mark on the box. Amazing! Will definitely buy from Vanns again. I've also been to their stores in Montana and they are nice stores with helpful sales people.

I was looking for a low price on a Panasonic camera but was turned off by all the reviews of agressive internet camera stores with deceptive tactics, until I found Vann's. The reviews were amazing after what I'd seen and they had the best price of any store that had the slightest appearance of being legitimate.
So I ordered it, it was shipped the next day, and tracking the free shipment was been unbelieveably easy - all you do is click on the tracking number in their "it's shipped" e-mail and the item's travels through Fed-X pop up immediately. Amazing. I hope that I will need something else they sell. The site is laid out well and everything makes sense. I am 100% satisfied, and it's a great camera too. |

Excellent customer service, Vanns had the Panasonic pedestal I needed in stock when everywhere else I checked it was on national backorder for at least 2 weeks and we had to have it "yesterday", they double verified that the item required was in stock. They shipped the pedestal the same day I ordered it, checking on line I found an A+ rating from BBB. This was my first order from Vanns and based on the fact I needed the pedestal "yesterday", verifying they had the item in stock and the excellent ratings purchased the pedestal. This will not be my last order from Vanns and I will certainly recommend this company to all I know.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a TV on 3/1/09. It's 3/10/09 and I still don't have it. They said I'd have it yesterday. It didn't show up. I asked them why they didn't tell me the order had been delayed. They told it was because of bad weather. I did not ask why it was delayed, I asked why they didn't tell me it was delayed. Once again they say "We can't controll the weather." Then they said the shipper should have called me.
I paid Vanns, they didn't deliver my TV on time and they didn't tell me it was delayed. They blamed the weather and they blamed the shipper, but they never told me my order was delayed. I'll never order from them again. Learn from my mistake. Shop someplace else. |

I ordered a speaker to round out my surround sound system. The website said the speaker was platinum/black just like my 5 other speakers. I got the package on time and to my relief, the box specified platinum/black, the receipt said platinum/black. the Vann's stickers pasted all over the box said platinum/black. Opened the manufacturer's box and it was all black. Then I noticed that the box said the speaker was black and that they had tried to sticker over it. Why send it to me if they knew it wasn't what I ordered? Customer Service was extremely polite however, now I have to go through the hassle of sending it back on my dime. Additionally, they say it will take 2-3 weeks to credit my account. That means they are holding my money for a month after sending a speaker they knew I didn't want.

I ordered a 46" Samsung LCD TV from Vann's and had no problem with the ordering process. It was easy and without issues. I appreciate the free shipping and low prices. Delivery was another issue. While the item arrived on the last day that was promised, the box was opened only to find the TV damaged. The packaging materials inside were damaged and not well placed. I am not sure if this was a Samsung factory issue, damage from the warehouse or in transit. However, it appeared the original Samsung box was damaged prior to it being placed by Vann's in the shipping box. A call to Vann's promised they would replace the TV with a new item. I am now waiting for a pickup so it can be returned, at which time the will send a replacment. I am told this will take three weeks and I will received nothing for my time, money or inconvenience.

Excellent online experience. Ordered 40 inch Sony hdtv and BD player on Saturday afternoon. Order shipped Monday afternoon and was sitting in my living room Wednesday afternoon two days ahead of estimated delivery. Follow up emails from Vanns every step along the way. TV was double boxed with bubble wrap around the Sony carton. Arrived in perfect condition. Vanns web site is easy to use with excellent product information. Low prices. Free delivery.
