The first time I heard of Vanns was this last October. I noticed very reasonable prices on most all electronics, and audio equipment. Their clearance items, I believe, are a real bargin if you can catch them at the right time. I went and picked up a the Mirage piano black OMD-C1 and two OMD-5 surround speakers at 75% mark down. They were shipped for free in addition to 75% mark down. The product is excellent. Vanns informed me that there may be minor surface scratches on the OMD-15 mains and there were, but I rubbed them out with a wax in a few minutes and all looks factory fresh. They are a beautiful looking and excellent sounding speakers.
Shipping was great. Everything was doubled boxed packed.
I ended up calling Vanns for information more than a once and they at customer service were helpful and capable of handing my questions professionally. Customer service were willing to give me a  RMA# if I wanted to get the Rosewood models that had just came up for a sale. I decided to use the piano black speakers for my surround sound, (I already had a white Mirage nanosat speaker system with sub woofer) and the piano black fit in perfectly. I use the white nanosats for my rear speakers and (front present speakers above the OMD-15 mains) up fronts for encoded Cinema surround movies. Killer sound. I have white wall switches & black duplex outlets. Looks and sounds great. Vanns came to the rescue and helped me complete my system the way I had always intend but couldn't afford until now. Clearence Items are nice sometimes.
I'm now sold on the company and just purchased a pair of the the Mirage Rosewood OMD-15 and another Rosewood center channel speaker last month to complete the Mirage OMD-15 system.
I usually never leave a review for several personal reasons, but I do shop on line often and I've now found Vanns and they offer most everything I'm looking for in a Internet company; great product, no tax and so far no shipping charges, and they always answer the phone and do not try to pacify you, but rather work with you. Good company. Good folks to work with. I try to do business with good honest people.
I recommend Vanns and hope you have the same experience my family and I have had. I intend on picking up another amp and some more toys before too long.
