This has been a very poor first experience for me.

Well this is my first rating job and I am sorry to say. Not a good experience. I first started off with calling to ask about a speaker bundle deal on some Klipsch speakers and was told that they didn't have any at the moment. I told them that I had seen it on the site before but forgot how I found it. I wanted to order a A/V receiver and speakers. I ended up ordering a deal from Crutchfield but ended up sending the speakers back and couldn't get a good deal on a Klipsch home theater deal. I ended up clicking on a center speaker and it showed some bundle deals complete with subwoofer. I called and asked about changing out some speakers in the deal and what the comparison cost would be. Well after changing out all but the subwoofer I settled for the deal and moved forward with how much it would be with changing out the sets for a lil better speaker. I was so excited that my speakers came and as I pulled each one out of the two big boxes and setting them up as I went. I realized that I was short two speakers. I spent $1,100 on a system and found out the customer service rep ordered me 1 surround and 1 book shelf speaker. I called twice to find out what to do and get a call back from that Rep. I ended up calling the third time and was treated by another Rep as if what are you complaining about, what do you want to do about the order. I was not offered any kind of deal or compensation. In order for my system to be complete, I would have to spend around $600 more. I ended up having to send the book shelf back to get another surround. Well I get an email with some return information on it and when I get to UPS to send the speaker back, I am told that I have to pay for it and will have to ask Vanns.com about refunding the money back to me. I was none to happy about this. So then I am told to fax the shipping receipt to them to get reimbursed and now I sit with only one surround speaker waiting for them to get that speaker so that they can send the other surround which takes a week. So I am the one that gets the bum deal of service but awesome product. The funny thing is, My last name is Vann too. HaHa
