I haven't really seen any reviews where people sold their books to ValoreBooks.com, so I was a little hesitant. My experience is as follows:

I went to their site and put the books I wished to sell and their condition.
They had a very easy shipping method where you just print the label and ship it from your local postal office. The label was printed Tuesday, August 19.
I shipped the box (free shipping; they pay for it) the very next morning, Wednesday, August 20.

I was told "media mail" takes 4-14 business days to arrive at their site. I guess this was true, as it took a full 14-15 business days for my package to reach their warehouse, where I then got an e-mail (on Tuesday, September 9), stating my check would arrive in 7-10 business days.

9-10 business days later, I received my check (on Tuesday, September 23) for the amount promised to me.

So, overall, it was slow, like the site said it would be, and I thought I got ripped off after a month went by. They were only 6 hours away by car, so I wasn't sure how it took 15 business days for my package to reach their site and an additional 10 for my check to arrive.

I'm just glad I got my money and I would still sell my books to this company again. In the future, however, I would pay some extra money to put my own tracking on the package, just to keep my heart at ease.
