Worst on line shopping experience I have ever had thanks to Amazon.com

I chose to purchase a mini-refrigerator priced at $82.34 via Amazon.com. Amazon.com in redirected me to UnbeatableSale.com. It looks like Amazon is becoming more of a portal now a days. The product I ordered was supposed to take 3-8 days to arrive. It actually took 10 days from date order to arrive, and it was badly damaged. The product was shipped without any packaging on the bottom of the unit and I was charged $34.97 for shipping. I refused delivery and contacted customer (NOT) service. After 15 more days I cancelled the order because they could not tell me anything about order except that it was pending shipment. Then guess what, I found the same product for $58.99 on Wal-mart.com and had it shipped to my nearest store for free.

I ordered a product to be sent as a gift -- it was never sent. In reply to my inquiry they said they'd check with the warehouse. Still no product and NO further communication. They sell through Amazon as well as direct (fortunate I had ordered through Amazon, so at least I could get a refund, but it still left me without a gift!)
Stay away from this merchant. |

I ordered a clock from this company. When it arrived it was not what I expected it was all plastic nowhere in the description of this clock was the term "plastic". I received it on a Friday and on Monday I returned it asking for a refund. A few days later I received an email saying they credited my charge card. Great.....then I get another email with tracking and confirmation numbers. THEY SENT ME ANOTHER CLOCK! I didn't want the original plastic clock why would I want it replaced with another one. When I called them about this second delivery they said it was sent out by mistake and that they would send me a label to return it. I asked if I could just refuse the shipment...they said no. Now tell me why should I take time out of my day to go to UPS to return something that was their mistake? It's bad enough I had to spend an extra $6.00 to return the original....Save your time and money, order elsewhere!

I ordered from them and they promised to deliver in several days. Two weeks later I got my first call from them, actually someone else in my company got a call. They dialed the wrong extension but didn't care and just told that person all about their shipping problems. Luckily he told me and I called back and told them "deliver any time, there is always someone there". Two weeks after that someone else at my company got a call and their customer service person hassled them saying "we're going to charge you double shipment for shipping it there and back!" (Yes this new co-worker had no idea what they were talking about.) 5 weeks in now and the two-day shipment is long forgotten. They've never attempted a delivery but have demonstrated their abysmal customer service to many random people they called.

PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I ordered a bookcase through Amazon on March 20th - they send me an email at the end of March stating that they are backordered and it will ship on April 5th - they send another email saying the item is now out of stock and not expected to arrive until May 7th! So almost two months later they might have my bookcase! I called their customer service, I keep hitting 2 to talk to customer service and it rings and who picks up? The main menu again, and again, and again, and I keep hitting two and get no one. I have never had an experience this bad on the internet, ever.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this company. On 9/2/05 I ordered a Roomba. They were not in stock by 9/29, so I canceled the order. I received confirmation of the canceled order, then 3 weeks later on 10/19, they emailed me to tell me it shipped and they charged my credit card (fraudulently at that point.) I never received anything and it is now 12/14 and after several phone calls and emails they have still not credited back my credit card. I resorted to calling my credit card company to report the fraudulent charges. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!

I recently bought a floor fan from Unbeatablesale.com. The price was quite a bit lower than other online merchants are charging for the same model. Took about a month to receive the fan and when it arrived, the package was not taped very well. When the box arrived, I went to lift it and the inner (manufacturer's) box almost slid out. I might buy from this merchant again, provided the price is substantially lower than the competition and it's something I don't need right away. The selection was good and ordering was easy.
