 I would not shop here again

I bought a Dacor refrigerator which arrived very late and badly damaged.  US Appliance wrote in their e-mail that they will replace all the damaged parts, and if it doesn't work, will replace with a new one.  When the inspection report came out that it can not be repaired, Carla (she said she is the manager) said she will not honor any of the promises her sales person made in writing via e-mail to replace all damaged parts, or replace with a brand new refrigerator.  Carla said "Too bad."  We lived without a refrigerator for the whole Christmas holiday.  We are taking them to court to get this resolved.  I would never, ever buy from them.  I can not believe a company can be this bad.  I never had this kind of horrible experience in my life time.

My order:
I ordered a LG 21.6cuft stainless steel refrigerator during Thanks-giving and it arrived after Christmas and they sent me a DEFECTIVE piece!
The defects:
*The stainless steel body has dents and scratches on it throughout eg inner side of the fridge door handle etc.
*It was unclean from inside-there were lots of human hair in it. *The sponge like insulation material had leaked outside the door and had stuck to the stainless steel door.
Beware:
I have emailed them with pictures and NO ONE HAS GOT BACK TO ME. They operate per EST!
Poor customer service:
I had to constantly call them to know the status of my fridge for delivery.
Final word:
I am completely in aghast & dissatisfied. I recommend NOT TO GO WITH THESE GUYS. Had it not been for my excellent choice of the fridge(brand etc) and way it works - I dont know what I would have done.
Pay a couple $$$ more and get the satisfaction of a spotless non defective piece!

Best price on 52" HDTV. Shipped next day and arrived 6 days after order placed. No tax & free shipping. Called their customer service to get carrier and tracking number which allowed me to follow the TV from Michigan to my home in Florida. I'd buy from them again.

Opportunity for them to improve -- provide carrier and tracking info on confirming email and/or invoice so buyer doesn't have to call to get info.

The element that we received was defective. I contacted US Appliance and within ten days, they had a service rep at my home, he verified the problem and I received a replacement unit. The product was misrepresented. I was expecting a new model electric cooktop, but the description did not say it was an older model. I had to pay an electrician $200.00 to come out to my house and change out the plug and recepticle so that I could use it. I had a 50amp cooktop and had to have it changed to a 30amp, which tells me it was an outdated model, as they now have to have 4 wires rather than 3. I am very unhappy with the company and will NEVER shop there again and I will make sure all my family and friends don't either.

After too many weeks of waiting, I was informed that the microwave wouldn't be in your warehouse until the end of June (that was last week). So, I cancelled the order. BestBuy got it for us in 2 days!!

Ordered new GE Refrigerator and Microwave and a Kitchen Aide Dishwasher. I could not be happier. Got a great price. No delivery or sales tax charges. I saved hundreds. Delivery was as expected with no problems. They actually said it would take three weeks and I received them in two. All in all, a very good experience with US Appliance.

received call from Pilot Freight on 2/12/08. set delivery for 2/14. from tracking number I saw that it arrived in local area on 2/8. did not receive notice from us-appliance.

Considering I ordered the toaster during the holidays for my own use (no hurry to receive it), receipt of item was about 9 days. I was contacted by email when the item shipped, with a tracking number. The toaster works wonderfully well and is "as described". Ordering online was very easy and, price was very reasonable for this item. I would definitely recommend this retailer to my friends and, use them again myself.
