I was extremely reluctant to order on-line from a company that I had never heard of or dealt with in the past. However I came across a price that was too good to resisit (33% below Best Buy) and decided to give it a shot. Fortunately it could not have been smoother. Perhaps I waited a day or two longer for the order but frankly who cares when you save that much money? Tv came within two weeks of order date and was exactly 10 business days from original order.

Online shopping on their website was easy to navigate. Products arrived as indicated. Delivery confirmation the day before dropoff is excellent. Prices for products are competitive but could have probably found a better deal if we waited for holiday sales event from other merchants, online and neighborhood stores.

I found a Kitchenaid refrigerator through Number 1 Appliance for $1311.00. When I inquired about the same refrigerator through US Appliance, because of their 110% match guarantee...they said they would sell me that refrigerator for $1308. I think they need to hire people that knows some math. Of course when I brought it to there attention, they never emailed back,,I think this could be considered as False Advertisement.

DO not buy your items from US-Appliance. You will be sorry. The employees are incompetent. Last week, I ordered an item and the agent said I would receive it in 5 business days. After waiting for one and half weeks, I called to check on my purchase. And guess what? They didn't even have the item in stock. You would think they would call their customers to let them know about this problem. But NO! They just let the customers wait. I was of course FURIOUS, because I waited all this time, and it was supposed to be a mother's day gift. I will never use that company again. Stay AWAY!!!!

I ordered a whole kitchen full of appliances from US Appliance.
When my installer opened the carton of the cooktop, he found the glass top was shattered. There was no appairent damage to the carton. US Appliance informed me there was nothing they could do because I called more than 48 hours after receiving the shipment. So much for customer service.... I canceled an additional order I had placed with them. I'll never purchase from them again. |

I had expected a three week wait before delivery. I was completely amazed when I received a phone call saying it was ready for delivery in just 5 days. That was awesome. The dishwasher arrived in excellent condition and works like a charm. Couldn't have asked for better results.

I Had no way of knowing initialy how long the order would take to fill and have still not recieved the cook top. I had to call to find out a delivery date and then it was wrong I still have no appliance and can not complete my kitchen project until it arrives. If I was made aware of the time it would take I WOULD HAVE MADE OTHER ARRANGMENTS. I guess that is why I was not told.

Our delay was based on shipping damage by the freight carrier, but US Appliance expedited the replacement. Although we had to wait another week, we understand the process. Customer Service was helpful and the second one arrived in good condition. We will consider them for our next purchase.

I received my Dijon Halo Teakettle in damaged condition; I believe the damage was pre-existing and not intentional by either US Appliance or from the available shipping method. I contacted US Appliance; after talking with a supervisor, I received a replacement teakettle. I was extremely pleased with the service of this supervisor/representative of US Appliance. By treating me as a valued customer (even though it was my first time ordering with this company), US Appliance instilled enough confidence to come back again and hopefully become a repeat customer for years to come. I was VERY surprised by my experience at us-appliance.com. I bought a new Samsung 40" Luxia TV from them which was advertised with free shipping and an MSRP of about $400 less than other stores. The website design is very clunky and this would be my biggest online purchase (about $2000) and I didn't want to buy from a website that didn't inspire any confidence. After a LOT of research I learnt that us-appliance.com is the online arm of ABC warehouse which according to Samsung is an authorized retailer. So after quite a bit of hesitation and trepirdation I went ahead and placed the order and promptly didn't hear back from them for 2 days! I placed the order Wednesday morning and got a call from someone on Friday afternoon confirming my order. It took another week for delivery from MI to Seattle, WA (I got the TV the following Friday) and LOVE it so far. The TV is super thinn, brand new and I saved over $400 from other places. So yes, I'm surprised at how it all turned out and even decided to go to epinions and write about it! Good luck with your TV purchase

I purchased a Sony Bravia KDL52W4100, a 52" HDTV. With the free shipping offered, US Apppliance had the best price on the net. After several days I get a call from them stating that "oops, sorry but we don't have that TV in stock. We thought we would get another shipment but Sony is not shipping anymore of that model. (The dealer that I bought from said that was an outright lie) US Appliance then kept my money tied up for several days before it was credited back to my account. It cost me $163 xtra & a lot of time to buy the unit someplace else. They KNEW the TV was out of stock and should have told me when I ordered it. STAY AWAY from them!!!

I am a custom home builder and I purchased all my kitchen appliances from US Appliance. My experience with them was outstanding. I ordered the wrong fridge and they gladly accepted the wrong unit back and quickly delivered the new one. I will continue to use them.
I see they have received some complaints, but with any big company there will be some complaints. I think they are as good as any store you can go to and their prices are better. |

Terrible experience, bought a $400.00 microwave, that started falling apart days after receiving it. Then it totally burned out, and would not power on, within the first month, of buying it. And US Appliance, will do NOTHING to help us. They have terrible, polices. Beware of this company, like they say "You get what you pay for". Just because there a bit cheaper, does not mean there an honest company. Its just wrong, how they treat honest hardworking people.Buyer beware~~~~~

Ordering and delivery were fine. My receipt did say it was from 1999 (I bought an LG washer/dryer in one in Dec07), but that hasn't caused any problems. The problem I am having is with the extended warranty I bought.

I was very skeptical about buying a 46" plasma TV from a website. US Appliance had a very good deal on a Panasonic TH-46PZ850U HDTV with free shipping. I received e-mail confirmation shortly after placing my order on Jan 30, '09. On Monday Feb 2, I received a call from US Appliance to schedule delivery for Wed. Feb 4. I called US App. Wednesday morning (8 am) as instructed to get an approximate time of delivery and was told it would be between noon and 6pm. Delivery guy called shortly thereafter and said he would be there within 1/2 hour. Delivery guy decided to rearrange schedule and made me the first stop instead of last for the day. Lucky me! As outdoor termperature was 10 degrees and the set was very cold to the touch after removing top box cover, I examined it with a flashlight for cracks in the glass and case, but did not power it up. All looked good so I signed for it. US Appliance made me a believer regarding making big purchases online!

I ordered a camera and they didn't even have it stock. They charged my card two hour's after the purchase, 10 day's later I call only to find out they do not have it in stock and wouldn't have one for two more week's.
My wife called to complain and was told "well mam we can put a rush on your order seeing as you are all hot to trot for you order". WTF!?! Needless to say I called and told the guy off and demanded a full and immediate refund. I will never trust this company again! |
