I was leery about ordering here with so many negative reviews. I didn't order any large appliances because I was afraid of possible hassles of returning if something went wrong. So I decided to order a microwave and trim kit instead. First of all, the website is easy to use and they have good prices and a great selection of products. Well, the microwave arrived within 8 days via freight. I was contacted by the freight company to set up a delivery time. Very easy. The boxes arrived in perfect condition and everthing works great! I didn't like the fact that the advertised "Free shipping" isn't really free at all. In fact, there was a $30 fuel surcharge you don't see until you place your order. Despite this, the cost of the microwave was less than anywhere local or online.
They advertise a 110% price match guarantee. I have yet to see this. I have put in 3 requests and no one has contacted me. I will make one more request and then I'll give up on getting an extra $13 back. Maybe this is their ploy: don't respond and the customer will give up so us-appliance doesn't need to pay up.
Customer service is so-so. I spoke to one rep (can't remember her name right now) who asked me to email her my appliance order so that I could get a bid on a new kitchen and laundry. Two nonresponsive emails. I then shopped locally for the appliances. Your company lost out on $22,000! I may not be alone in expressing my concerns regarding their lackluster customer service. After placing my order for the microwave, I called C/S to have them make a change on the address, the rep was pleasant and efficient. It's a matter of chance in this department.
I was satisfied with my small purchase. However, I would be hesitant to outfit an entire new house.
