US - Mattress

Again we have been very pleased with the price and quality of service we received from US Mattress. We may need to exchange the most recent purchase due to needing a slightly more firm mattress, but anticipate as smooth a process as we have had with our two purchases.

Was advised that we would be notified in advance of delivery. Delivery occurred unexpectedly with no advance notice. There were minor scuffing one one corner and tears to the mesh on the underside of the box springs (probably factory since the packing material (plastic) was undamaged.

The goods were not delivered for 3 weeks after the payment was made and the order processed. U.S. Mattress informed me that it is their custom to deliver within 5-7 weeks. I could not wait that long and cancelled the order. U.S. Mattress refused to return the full amount and penalized me for the cancellation I made due to their non delivery. If you don't mind waiting for your mattress or furniture for 7 weeks or not being given a full refund if you want to cancel the order or need to return the goods, then you will not mind doing business with this merchant. If your standards are higher, stay away.

US Mattress saved me over $600 on my mattress AND delivered it in two days (My best price local store quoted 2-3 weeks with no comfort trial).  When you find what you want just call them and buy it.

I bought a simmons mattress and a headboad. The delivery people was not careful at all with my floors or the things they were bringing. They will make you sign a waiver saying that if they scratch your house it is not their responsibility.
Because I was getting white glove delivery, they had to install everything.They found out a while later that the headboard was the wrong one.
They left and I had to call US mattress about this. Very nice customer service. Because they deliver during the work day I had to cancel the new order to don't miss work.
I started to take a look to my new mattress set and I see a rip on a corner. A rip in my new, expensive mattress. I call again to customer service. Very nice again. But the same problem, I have to miss work again to have a new mattress delivered to me.
The problem hasn't been solved yet and I have spent the entire morning taking care of this. Let's see what they do about this.

Price was excellent, and shipping time was exactly what the purchsing website said it would be. However, it was several days before my order was confirmed online, and when I called customer service they said that I would receive an email to show when my purchase was en route, which I did not. Instead I received a phone call 2 days prior to when the bed was to be delivered. I scheduled delivery for between 11am and 3pm, however my phone began ringing at 7:30am and no message was left from a private cell phone number. As I was walking out the door at 8:20am I met the truck outside my door, and the delivery man said if I had missed him they would have come back the next day, NOT at the scheduled time! On the positive side the freight people were pleasant, and although the website said curbside delivery (meaning an extra charge to drive the bed through the parking lot up to my door!), the men even brought it up in the elevator and into my apartment. All in all, although communication is not their strong point, I got a great bed for literally hundreds of dollars cheaper than anywhere else and I got it within 2 weeks of placing my order. I will definitely shop from them again!

Was called by the delivery truck driver the day mattress was supposed to be delivered and was informed the mattress set had a hole the size of his fist in it and wondered if I would refuse delivery. He didn't know how it got there since he didn't load his truck. Of course I refused delivery. I then called US Mattress to tell them about this and was told they would place another order. A day prior to delivery, I called the company to ask if the mattress pad I had also ordered was coming and was then informed that unfortunately it was never ordered from the manufacturer. So now we have NO BED to sleep on since we gave our old one to our college bound son so am extremely unhappy with this company and have a sore back from sleeping on our couch!

I ordered the bed - received an email promptly indicating where I could track my orderstatus - it showed in process and my credit card was charged. A full week later I was sent a form email telling me the product was backordered and I was provided with a vague date range (sometime late in the month). I cancelled the order. It took about 10 minutes on hold to reach a human being - but once I did, they processed a cancellation and refunded my credit card within three working days.

When the mattress arrived, it was covered in plastic packaging, and this packaging was really dirty. My floor and clothes got really dirty as well from bringing it into the house. I had to mop afterwards!

I ordered it on 7-13-09 and paid the extra cost for the guaranteed second day delivery. Well it is 8-3-09 today and I still haven't received my order. The charged my cresit card on the 13th anyway. Just crappy service!

Although the order was delivered wrong, it was quickly remedied - Pete in their customer service office was fantastic to work with. The two gentleman that delivered the items were also wonderful. Very pleasant interaction with them.

Because mattresses at different retailers have different model names for the same product, it was necessary to find one I liked, then find the same model at US mattress. With help from a sales associate, this was accomplished, with significant savings. Delivery and setup were smooth. I am satisfied.
