my overall experience with tumi was outstanding!

on their website the items had good descriptions and a lot of detailed pictures. which made it very easy to find what i wanted. once i found the item i wanted to purchase i proceded to the checkout which was a very easy process. i completed my order within a couple of minutes & they even gave me a code to use for free shipping!

two days later to my suprise the ups man knocked on my door with tumi box. when i opened the box up i was even more suprised. the item was very well packed and the quality of the item was even better than i expected! this is the nicest bag i have ever owned. so long victorinox, hello tumi.

i am sold! i will be purchasing many more tumi products from tumi.com in the very near future! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I'm happy with most aspects of the bag.

HOWEVER, there is a small pin that attachs the shoulder strap to the computer bag. This pin decided to come loose, and as it has a sharp edge, proceeded to pull threads from my tweed jacket and multiple shirts before I worked out what the culprit was.
On contacting the service dept they quoted "It is the policy of Tumi that we do not cover consequential damage to a person's possessions." end-of-story. I have not heard anything since even though I have contacted them
.

For the price of the bag I thought the quality and service would be similar. Obviously not.

I picked Tumi over other brands like Coach and Dooney & Burke because I wanted travel pieces with a simple, clean cut look but also be accessory friendly (ie a few pockets for holding odds and ends). Most importantly, I wanted the piece to be durable.   Read full review...
