TOTALVAC.COM= NO customer service, dishonesty & shady business practices

I ordered a part for my VitaMix food processor at 2338 on 09/13. Totalvac.com placed the charge on my credit card next day BUT had not shipped the item. I sent an email inquiry to them as to why they did that w/o shipping the item on 09/15. They never responded. I sent another email on 09/18 and left a phone message as to why I was being charged for an item that had not shipped- still no reply. I cancelled the order via email and voicemail on 09/19 at 1915. I then disputed the charge with my credit card company. Exactly 30 minutes after canceling the order Totalvac.com sends me an email saying the order had shipped! Coincidence? It seems very dishonest to me! A check of the tracking number at USPS site said they had no record of said shipment!! I immediately send an email stating my previous cancellations via email and voicemail.
I received an email the next day saying I can write 'refused' on package once I get it and receive 100% refund because it had been sent out. An immediate check of USPS site: STILL had not been sent out! A check of the USPS site on 09/21: Totalvac.com has notified USPS they have a package ready to send out! In other words, they have not sent the item out- they have simply notified the USPS of their intentions of bringing a package to them (or have a package ready to be picked up). They could have cancelled that order but didnt. This is two days after telling me the part shipped out. They most likely were hoping I would keep it once I got it on 09/25- I sent it back registered mail and insured unopened the next day. They received the package back according to the USPS website on 09/28 at 1101.
Totalvac.com has never answered my voicemails or support emails other than to tell me I could send the package back. I sent two emails on 09/29 stating they have the package and should stop charging my card (after American Express removed the charge on 09/18, Totalvac.com recharged me for the same part again on 09/21). I URGE EVERYONE: DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS CROOK. I filed a BBB complaint in their home state today and will contact their Webmaster- Totalvac.com has not answered the complaint to this day. I will also complain to every website possible to warn others. BEWARE OF TOTALVAC.COM!!
The final results: Totalvac.com finally relented, took back my return and issued the credit to my AmexEx card. I have learned my lesson and will NEVER order from this company again. I also think Bizrate.com is doing customers a disservice by saying this company has a great approval rating when more than 20% of their customers are dissatisfied.
