My shopping experience at Toshiba.com was very satisfying. I easily found what I wanted at a good price. Purchasing online was efficient. The products I ordered arrived at my home within 5 days of the order date (they would have probably arrived within 3 days but UPS does not deliver on weekends). I am very satisfied with everything I ordered. If the need arises, I will certainly consider purchasing products through Toshiba.com again.

Well, I haven't really made any purhase at Toshiba yet, because... judging by what I know, they're not interested in making money.
I tried to buy a laptop. They sent me an email stating that they would contact me when my transaction was finalized, but they never finalized it, and they never called me either. About two weeks after having made my purchase. I called to find out what was going on, and they informed that my order had been cancelled! Mind you-- this is the week before Christmas! I placed another order, the same order, right away (yesterday) hoping to still get the computer in time for Christmas. It has been over 24 hours since I placed my order, and my credit card information is still pending (!!!) I buy stuff online all the time with the same card! Can Toshiba try to get it right? Respect potential customer?

I can understand that when somebody orders by credit card the home address must be the delivery address. However, I am dual purpose and buy alot of products that I use at my work. Is there a way to make an exception to that rule so that a request can be made to allow purchases be sent to a business address instead of a home address? Thanks I really enjoy your products and services

My experience was good. I had to call in my order instead of just ordering online because I was shipping the item to an address other than my billing address which I understand AND appreciate for security purposes. The operator that I spoke with on the telephone was extremely helpful and assisted me with my shipping needs. The only thing that I was surprised at was she suggested a different product that was on sale which did not show up onsale on the website. I changed my order to the onsale item. So, I made out in the end, but only because I had to call. I would hope that in the future when I order products from your website that I would be able to keep the convenience of shopping "online" and receiving sale/discounted item offers and not just by chance because I had to call. Just something that you should note. Otherwise, my experience was great...thank you for the prompt & on-time delivery. Happy Holidays!

The delivery time was outstanding. I would have given 5 stars but I was disappointed with the way the rebate was presented. I felt I was mislead. I did not find out until after I purchased the item that I also had to buy a computer in order to get the rebate. If you are more careful about the rebate than me, I recommend this merchant.

I had difficulty navigating the web-site. I wanted to purchase the Satellite A60 on special 699 after rebates. I ended up going to the area where I configured one by accident. When I followed up by phone, the representative helped me to realize the error made. The product was already close to being shipped and I was told I could refuse delivery. I chose to keep the product (a little more memory). I have had a pleasant experience regardless. My only feedback was that it was difficult for a novice to order the special on line.

During online purchase they never revealed that the item is shipped from China. I was expecting an American or Japanese assembled Notebook. Inclusion of trial software like AOL and AT&T is a nuissance as the time taken to delete it as well as the hard disk space consumed.

My only concern was confusion over 'qoute' form and actual order form. I wasn't sure I actually placed the order. Then one piece of order arrived, as expected, so I assumed the other piece was ordered as well. I phoned to be sure it was. Yes, it was. But, then again the qoute, number, order number and customer number were very confusing. I tried to check on line, but the numbers didn't line up. The phone assistant, said they would not agree because my order was still being built.
I didn't like that part of the experience. Spending $1600 should give me the ability to know if my order was received online and if it was soon to be shipped. I shouldn't have to 'phone' for this part of the process. I am very pleased with the product, but the experience was less than perfect.

I placed an order with an international credit card and even received an e-mail confirmation. When I tried to check my order two weeks later, using the order and customer number given in the e-mail, there was no way to access the order (access always refused). When I called customer service, I was informed that the order was canceled, you don't accept international credit cards. Why did I get an e-mail confirmation in the first place? Or at least was informed of the cancellation by e-mail? I was very upset because this was meant as a gift for christmas. Fortunately I was able to place an order for a laptop from another manufacturer through Amazon, which accepts international credit cards and where I am a customer for many years. I had to settle for a configuration different from what I was looking for and I am not happy about it. I am disapointed with Toshiba and won't consider Toshiba in future.

Invoices as required to redeem rebates should be included in the shipment or by email as stated on the Customer Servicewebpage as follows:
"When will I receive my order confirmation?
An order confirmation email will be sent within minutes of placing your order online or over the phone. You will also receive an email invoice when you order is billed to your card and shipped from our warehouse."
A phone call to Toshiba to request a faxed or mailed copy of the invoice should not be necessary.

Ordered laptop. Got an e-mail later saying there was a problem with the credit card company. Called them and thought the problem was resolved. Later got another e-mail from Toshiba saying there was still a problem with the card. Said I needed to give my brother's address to the credit card company since that was where the item was to be shipped. At the same time got an e-mail from Toshiba saying is the order was filled in 7 days then it would be cancelled. It was past seven days so I just cancelled the order and bought the item locally
