Ordered laptop. Got an e-mail later saying there was a problem with the credit card company. Called them and thought the problem was resolved. Later got another e-mail from Toshiba saying there was still a problem with the card. Said I needed to give my brother's address to the credit card company since that was where the item was to be shipped. At the same time got an e-mail from Toshiba saying is the order was filled in 7 days then it would be cancelled. It was past seven days so I just cancelled the order and bought the item locally

Product is fine; customer service could use better qualified people who understand systems involved instead of blindly following a fault tree guide which may not contain particular circumstances.

This must be the worst customer service and order processing in North America.... certainly the worst I have encountered in twenty years:
- The special offer link on their Site was broken.
- The main site took the order but without the special offer extras.
- Customer Service said they would cancel the wrong order and assist with the new one.
- I re-ordered with their help.
- The old, wrong order arrived and was billed to my card.
- The new order has not arrived.
- Email complaints to their Customer Service are unanswered.
- Calls to Customer Service have a Menu from Hell of voicemail choices, then a 40 minute waiting time.
- The Supervisor does not call back.
- The UPS Tracking numbers they send are really FedEx.... only imagination yields that fact.
- They all need firing or sending to work for the gas company.... amazing that such a leading-edge supplier of new technology could have such crappy processes for dealing with customers buying a $2500 computer.

The truth is I ordered 3 software titles and all 3 were great. My problem is one 4 travel there was NO manual NOTHING to tell me how 2 use it & I still don't know how! I've sent 3 emails & received no answer back. I love Toshiba & purchase always Toshiba if they make that product. Usually I am thrilled with everything. I am very upset by this & will ensure I get the word out that you don't always send an operating manual & if it's "different" than the norm, you'll end up probably having to pay someone 2 put it on my notebook & 2 tell me how 2 use it. I've been waiting patiently thinking they would certainly send me something to help me. I am going to telephone them this morning to see if it will help. I have been very frustrated by this. The first time ever I was so disappointed by Toshiba. Are you under new mgmt? The other 2 software titles manuals were with them & them I knew how to operate. It's this GPS Travel package that I know nothing about & regret purchasing from Tosiba now.

Battery was on back-order -- the estimate was 15 days -- it's been nearly 30 and the product has still not been shipped. But, worse, I have had NO communication from Toshiba giving me any indication of WHEN I can expect it. They should be giving me an update, particularly once the product was delayed beyond the estimate.

First there was a delay in credit card processing. Then, the order status kept saying that the order was being packed...for 4 days!! When the status changed to ship, I tried using the UPS link that the page provided, but the UPS site said the number was invalid. I called customer service to find out that the number was a FedEx number. And finally, and here's my favorite thing, I had to take a half day off work once I finally was able to track my order at the FedEx site cause FedEx left a $1000 laptop on my front porch!!!! ARGH! Luckily, 3 hours after they left it in between my storm and front doors, the laptop was still there and in one piece.

I thought I was receiving a $99 rebate on my product. Only when it arrived did I realize the rebate only applied if you also bought a notebook computer. This is extremely disappointing. Eventhough it may be indicated on the website, it was definitely easy to miss. I usually have no problem catching all notices.
I will not shop at Toshiba.com nor by Epson again... Unless this can be rectified of course!!

I have not received my order yet. One item showed that it would ship in 3-4 days, and the second item was listed that it would ship in 4-5 weeks. I assume the merchant is waiting to ship both items in the same shipment even though I had made a special request to have 2 day shipping for both items. I expected the one item that was supposedly in stock would ship separate from the item that would take weeks. I am extremely disappointed with this merchant. If anyone wishes to contact me from about this issue they are more than welcome to.
