This is my second purchase from the Toshiba web site. The first was a computer and periferials. This one did require a phone call to track the order did have mail in rebates that I need to send in. The second, came with no issues and all discounts were included.

I enjoyed the shopping experience. Had I known that I would have to pay to get phone support for a Satellite P25-s507 that I purchased last year regarding my wireless I would have bought a Dell or other brand that provides that support. I just spent $3000.00 on a laptop and spent $2000.00 last year. Luckily I wanted to try this one out before I purchased the other 2 that I need.

After purchasing item, which I paid extra for next business day delivery, I found out that next business day really doesn't exist. In the future, I would pay for two or three day delivery and receive my purchase in the same amount of time.

Initial order was cancelled without notification to me. This caused extended delay and ended up in my having to purchase a different product. I was unhappy with that whole experince; however, the customer service rep took the inititive to have expeditied shipping placed on the new product at no charge to me. I was happy with that part of the service.

I liked the way I could save the custom order. The only thing I did NOT like was finding out that custom orders could take 15 days to build.. I was pleasantly surprised however..I DID receive my order on XMAS eve (I expected it AFTER the holiday) A lovely surprise.

Ordered 5 products from Toshiba on 17 Dec 04. I paid for next day business and did not get all the items until 7 days later. I was told by Toshiba that when the item ships, I would have it by the next day. THAT IS WRONG! So if Toshiba takes 2 weeks to send out the product, why in hell would I want to pay next day business???????
I was also told after I placed my order that Toshiba gets 24 to 48 hours to process my credit card. I told customer service that other places do it in 10 to 15 minutes. I was told "WE ARE NOT OTHER PLACES". Well, if they want to be an ass about it, then I will shop someplace else in the future. I spent $2,186.94 and that's the service I get. I was later told that I would be refunded for my shipment costs, but still have not seen the discount yet.....

It has been almost 3 weeks and I still haven't received the product. I need it desperatly to get my laptop working,which I am dependant on for work. This really is unacceptable. The only problem is it is a Toshiba laptop and it seems as though the dealer is the only place to purchase it, so they must not think they have to supply good service.
