Manufacturer promised to send an email notification when item was shipped but I did not receive one. Three business days after item was to be shipped I contacted the manufacturer for an order status and coincidentally it arrived the next day.

I struggled through the Toshiba website to find the laptop I wanted. I ordered it, and though the website says the order would be processed promptly it was not. I emailed for information, my email was never replied to. I received the laptop and love it, but again I ordered an upgrade. I requested assistance by email on the upgrade from Customer Service and received a blank email in response.
I believe Toshiba's computers are the best, but when it comes to Customer Service they have no sense of urgency and extemely poor customer service skills.
The problem is probably one of cost cutting - I don't respect it when it is done at the expense of service. I'll buy from Toshiba again, I'll recommend Toshiba to my friends and contacts, but I'll always warn them that Toshiba's customer service is terrible.

Website had incorrect configuration info for the laptop I ordered. Toshiba cancelled the order after two weeks without calling me to let me know there was a problem with my order. It also took two (maybe three?) conversations with their credit department before they would believe my credit card info and shipping address were acceptable.

Shopping at Toshiba.com was a convenient and easy way for me to replace my power cord for my laptop. I have had the laptop for 3 years and have had no problems with it other than needing to replace the cord. I placed the order and within a week I had the cord.

Shopping at Toshiba went easy, then delay after delay set in. Still have not received our third computer yet, and if that one has no packaging either, we will send two back and the dvd player back and dispute the charges. Told over the phone it was shipping tomorrow 6 days ago, still no sign of it. Packed like crap. They put the computer box into a bigger unmarked brown box with no bubble wrap and no other packing. This is the stupidest way to lose $1400 dollars since if the third computer is not packed right I will cancel my credit payment and send back two of the units and the dvd player. They must be losing money with the crappy packing service, so I recommended that they fire the packers over the phone. No urgency at all to correct their problems... I will call for the 5th time tomorrow to find out what the latest hold up is for the 3rd computer, which I ordered 3 weeks ago. I would not buy from them again, since their customer service is unsat and so is their packing service. I took pictures before opening and as I opened everything. You have a better chance of receiving one of the Toshiba netbooks at a retail store since you can power it up and see the uncrushed box before you walk out.

I tried to order a laptop and after several days of them not processing my cc, I called to learn that they wouldn't deliver to my place of employment because it was a hotel. I had recently moved and inorder to have it delivered to my new address, I had to change my information with my bank to my new address so they could confirm billing and residency. After doing this, I still received an e-mail from a sales rep asking me to contact them to clarify. I did this and was told that, of course they could ship to my place of business so the shipping address was changed again. The following day, I received an e-mail stating that no, they could not ship to my place of employment as it was a hotel and could they change the shipping address back to my new home address. Following that, I then received a phone message that they could not varify my billing address, which I had recently updated, and was correct, on their request. At this point, full of frustration and realizing that we are 6 days in and they had not even processed my cc, I was best to cancel the order. When I asked the Sales rep to give me a reason why I should stay with their company, I got no answer. This was very poor service.

I had to call twice to understand what the delay was due to. The first time, they had my order on hold without contacting me. After a week, I called and spoke to a representative and he had to verify my credit card, then told me it was okay and ready to be shipped. After looking at my status, it was till pening so I had to call again and was told there wasn't anymore in the warehouse and would be getting more in a few days later. It would have been nice to have an email or some kind of communication to let me know what the delay was due to instead of me having to call. Otherwise, everything else was okay.

Toshiba is the most reliable computer you can buy! I've always owned a Toshiba laptop and will continue to do so. The only disadvantage from ordering direct from Toshiba is you have to pay shipping. I could have purchased this same product (Mini-Netbook, Pink) from another merchant and received free shipping.....

This is the second time that I have ordered with Toshiba laptop module where I was either emailed or I called customer service and found out the module is on back order. That is very very frustrating, to me- the customer. When I am notified that it has shipped out I have to wait forever when it does arrive. Toshiba needs to change their way of doing good customer relations buisness, me being irate because of the long delay and the urgency of having that module sent to me. Toshiba should have expressed mailed that module to me. at no cost to me because it was their error and they should have made good with the shipping cost.

I asked how long will it take my order to get to me [West Palm Beach Florida] by ground shipping he said five to seven business days, that was on a saturday, I could not believe the merchandise was at my door the following wednesday afternoon in a condition like brand new.I was impressed. Oh! I forgot to tell you it was a refurbished cumputer.I saved almost $300 and it was like new.
