My experience with TigerGPS.com was great. It was easy to order online, my purchase arrived three days following my order, and the package was intact and in great working order. I did not have to follow up on the shipping status; I received email notifications that my order had been processed and that it had shipped. I never had to call the company as everything went just as expected. I made a call one day to verify stock on the items I wanted to order. It was after 3:00 PM so I waited until the next day to call my order in to make sure it would be shipped that day. Both associates were very helpful. I received an email confirmation on my order and was supposed to receive shipping confirmation e-mail. I did not receive the confirmation but that is OK the package showed up earlier than I expected. I am glad I took the chance to deal with this supplier as I was not sure given the negative reviews I have read. I will use them again and recommend them to anybody.

Ordered 3 accessories for my GPS. Terrible customer service. Took my order and then a couple of days later sent me an e-mail saying one of the items was on back order and it would take a couple more days. A couple of days later I did an on-line chat with a Customer Service Representative that would respond every 4 or 5 minutes and told me that my order would ship in another 2-3 days. Later the same day I contacted them and they e-mailed me that my order would probably go out by Sept. 15 (approx two weeks from the date I ordered the stuff). I have e-mailed them to cancel the order and hope they do so. No honest company takes an order for a product they dont have and strings a customer along for a week or more. I could have ordered from one of their competitors and had my order by now. TigerGPS dropped the ball. I would not recommend doing business with them.

I ordered on Friday noon, I had expect the items to be shipped out the same day, as indicated by tigergps that in stock items are shipped out the same day.

My credit card was charged same day Friday. No email about order tracking number.

Monday comes along, still no tracking number. Tuesday, I called. They say that the product is back ordered until next week. I told customer service that their website stated that the product was in stock and they would not charge credit card until the product is shipped. Both were not true.

I would not order from this company again. I thought that because of the fairly good rating, they could be trusted. However, this is not quite accurate. The feedback was requested right after you placed your order, not after you have received your order. This was misleading because it only reflect their website ability to take orders, not on delivery.

RUDE and NOT TRUTHFUL. I went to TIGERGPS to order a Garmin C340 as they said they would match any price on the Net. I emailed them with a compairable price of $469.00. I recvd an email back that they would match that amount. So I ordered. The very next   Read full review...

Beware of TigerGPS.com. I ordered a GPS and paid for 2 day shipping and received the product after 4. I E-mailed customer service for twice with no response.

I had a rather disappointing experience too. First gps order went fine, but the second time they just did not ship my order (gps+map) thinking I've made a mistake (but did not tell me anything), and then refused to send internationally (on their expense) so that I could get it when needed.

Misleading Seller: I bought an item Tiger GPS advertised as "in stock" on their site. After purchasing, they said it was on backorder and should be in within 2 to 3 days. That never happened. It's now been over 9 days and still no merchandise, despite the fact they still advertise it as in-stock. Customer service keeps saying 2 to 3 days. Don't trust this retailer.

Beware, buyer. TigerGPS has behaved dishonestly with me several times during my one purchase this week:

1. The $300 item was claimed to be in stock on the Website and also when I inquired specifically by phone. In fact, it was not.

2. Same-day shipment was promised by Web and phone. They shipped late.

3. Instead of what I ordered, they shipped a different, obsolete item.

4. Even though they have no stock of what I ordered, they will only handle the return as if I am returning a defective item for MasterCard credit. That is, no reimbursement for full shipping charges either way, plus a 5 percent "restocking" fee because I want my MasterCard credited.

In other words, I must pay about $40 because THEY shipped the wrong product and don't have the right one to exchange for it!

This is a dishonest site. The item is **still** shown on their Website as in stock though they never have had it in stock.

I ordered the new Garmin 305 forerunner. Despite not having this item in stock, tiger lists it in stock on several shopping websites. Then in the listing of the item on it's website, Tiger gives as the reason that you should preorder the item from Tiger, and I quote;
There is no obligation - you can cancel at any time. Best of all, Tiger GPS does not charge your credit card until we ship your order.
In bold print. I ordered the item on March 21, It is now March 29th and I still do not have said item despite paying extra for 2 day shipping. Yet my card was charged on March 21, the day I placed the order. When I asked about this, this is the response I received;
I am sorry that your card was charged, the reason for that is because we put all pre-orders in the warehouse so they are ready to be shipped. By doing this we must charge the credit cards to make sure they do not decline.
I am very displeased with this company and will not do business with it again.

I would NOT do business with TigerGPS. Their customer service is clueless. There was a problem that neither of us caused and they refused to help when they had the chance. Buy it somewhere else even if you have to pay a few bucks more, you'll be happier... believe me.

Wasn't immediately clear from the web site if the product was in stock, I called the contact number was nicely told it was and that the product would ship the day I ordered. I did order, it did ship that day and arrived early in perfect condition.
