Thompson is slow, rude and incommunicative. Would NOT do business again.

I originally ordered Thompsons "powerhouse 30" on May 16 2007. I was assured that it would be shipped by Friday May 18. The item was not shipped. I called customer service and after a thirty minute hold, they took my name and number and promised to call back. They never did. I sent an e mail. It took them a week to respond to it and by the time they responded, the issue was no longer relevant. When I finally did get in contact with someone from Thompson, they told me that my order would ship on monday. On monday I was informed that my item was "back ordered". I again tried to call Thompson, and this time was greeted by a rather rude person by the name of "Fred" Fred was unapolegetic about the whole situation. I asked for half off of a low value cigar tin I had my eye on ((a discount of 12.50)) and expidited shipping. He refused. He also initially refused to ask his supervisor about it as well. When I finally did convince him to ask his supervisor he "upgraded" me to the next package of cigars a "20 cigar sampler" and assured me that it would ship right away, as it was in stock. I called the very same day to attach another tin of cigars that had caught my eye to the same order. I was assured that it would ship the next day. It did not. I have yet to recieve confimation that the order has shipped. I am unable to contact customer service.
The only reason that I do not cancel at this point is that I still hold out hope that the product will be what was advertised.
