I ordered two watches in november. It was a gift so I provided the shipping address accordingly. However, when processing the order they got my old address (where I lived no more) as shipping address (I guess that was due to Paypal). As soon as I saw that information I emailed he company back and asked them to make a change immediately. I received a response saying it had been taken care of and my gifts would be shipped where I wanted. A couple of days later I received an email saying due to a backlog there was some delay in shipping and they would email me with tracking number as soon as they shipped the items. I waited another two weeks, still nothing. So I emailed them about the gifts as christmas was already near. then they emailed me with tracking number which said it had been delivered, but to the wrong address. I immediately emailed them and was told they would try to get the watches back and ship them as soon as possible. If they can not ship it within the given date to make for christmas they would cancel my order and refund my money (that was the right thing, they made a mistake, not me). It was a month already and there was no response. I emailed them and got no replies. I had to go to Canada for the Christmas so could not keep up with the follow up. After returning I emailed them again, no response.
I called the company , told them about the situation and was told it might take upto 12 days for processing but I would be refunded. I waited another 2 weeks. then called them back as I did not see a refund in my account. Hanna, the customer representative, once answered my call, got me waiting for half an hour and then hung up. She kept on avoiding my calls and emails after tht. So, paypal has a 45 day claims policy, this company was trying to get me past that 45 day mark. After lying to me and keeping me in limbo for almost 2 and a half months, Hanna (she did not have the courage to talk with me personally), told another customer representative to tell me that it was My mistake and they will not provide a refund. Despite the fact that I have all the emails confirming a change in address and everything that took place after that.
I called Paypal. They said they could not open a dispute since it was already past 45 days, instead they suggested to contact my Bank if I had paid with a credit card. Luckily that happened to be the case. I called the bank and finally after some time was able to get my money back. This was the worst customer service I had faced in my life. I was being very co-operative, but they just tried to scam me. If they had been nice, I would have instead recommended others and was even planning on buying some more gifts. But now I am not buying anything, not even a Rolex even if they offer to give it to me for a dime.
