Whenever I am in the mood for remembrances of my childhood, I visit the Vermont Country Store. "Purveyors of the Practical and Hard to Find" is their logo; I have found that to be quite true.
Their website is very easy to navigate and has a search engine that actually works. While they inventory is quite large, I primarily shop for nostaglic candy. They carry anything from VALOMILKS (my most recent order was $14.95 for 12 packs) to old fashioned hard candies. The few times that there has been a backorder, I have been immediately notified by e-mail.
My purchases have always been processed and shipped almost immediately after I have submitted order. Packaging has been excellent, with every order received in perfect condition.
I have never had any reason to contact their customer service department, as I have been completely satisfied with every purchase.
If you are every looking for something from your childhood, you should first try shopping the Vermont Country Store.
