Chronic Problems with Delivery and Backorders - Don't Buy From Them!!
Gathering from all the other reviews I've read on this page, FurnitureParadise has a very big problem-- not delivering furniture in a timely fashion and not even INFORMING customers that their purchase is on backorder!!
I ordered an "Anna secretary desk" a month ago and called Furniture Paradise today to see why it still was not delivered. The customer service representative told me that, "Oh! It looks like the desks won't even be shipped till a month from now!.. so you probably won't receive it till the end of April." And no apologies whatsoever were given.
This is ridiculous enough, of course, that it takes a month to receive a desk-- but to not even list the item as "backorder" at time of purchase, is DECEIVING and WRONG. I would not have ordered the desk at all from them, if I had been informed there was the possibility of not receiving it until a month and a half later! (And, by the way, I have been charged for it).
Very bad business practice, I highly DO NOT recommend furnitureparadise for any future orders!
I hope to write a review about the actual PRODUCT.. once I get it, that is!
