I discovered The Best Things (TBT) several months ago while looking on the internet for a good source of vintage woodworking hand tools. To my surprise, not only did they have a wonderful selection of all types of vintage hand tools, but modern power tools as well. In fact, they deal in the very best products in antiques, fine art, cutlery, writing instruments, etc. This is a wonderful site, where I always shop first when looking for any type of tool. If they have it, not only is it the best, it's likely listed at a lower price than other on-line vendors. TBT has wonderful customer service, who give that personal touch to every order. They pack each shipment like it had to be bomb-proof. They communicate quickly and accurately about the status of orders, and shipping is very fast.

Additionally, information abounds on the site as they go to great lengths (if you want to read it) to explains various products, why they were chosen, dispel common myths, and generally enlighten their customers about the finer things in life.

I couldn't be happier, and WON'T shop anywhere else if I can possibly help it. They beat eBay by a mile, because their products (used tools for example) are prescreened by a world-renowned expert in the field. Every time I open a package from them, I'm wonderfully surprised at the quality of the merchandise.
