This site always has a great selection of items. The checkout process was fast as I have used the site before and did not have to fill out all of the information again. I ordered a digital camera for my wife for Christmas on 12/10. I have submitted calls on message, emails, and I have no idea what is going on with my order. On 12/10, I have reviewed my Discover Card bill and they billed and then credited and now I am stuck without a present. This is extremely frustrating and is totally unacceptable that I cannot get a reason, description, information, or anything about this purchase. I will be contacting the BBB and anyone else that I can to get this unprofessional event resolved. I am a customer that is ultimately screwed right now!!!

First let me say that I purchased the same camera 1 year ago. I was able to talk on the phone with a live human being who really helped me out a lot. Through a small typng error (according to Tech ToysForLess.com) my problems bagan when I forgot to put an H in YaHoo.com. To this day I have never received an invoice in my e-mail. I have never had any of my phone calls returned. Spent HOURS on redial....No live person answers the phone!!!...Just a recording. The only way we comunicated was by e-mail...and that took three e-mails to get there attention! Then they told me they didn't have the color I originally ordered, so I had to take what was available...NOT MUCH OF A CHOICE!! Last year I told everybody I could, what great service and price I received....This year was totally different or I guess a better word would be indifferent. Here is a lesson for all online "stores"...Get a live person to answer the phone when it rings...First time, everytime. It was the same time last year that I bought the other camera, so it wasn't any busier...Maybe just indifferent management.

Losing 3 shopping days at xmas could have been a problem, so I would recommend not to drive customers away for future purchases that they make sure their inventory is 100% up to date before advertising online. Ordered and paid for a Casio camera on 11/30. Get a call 3 days later that they are "out of stock" and would I like to purchase the upgrade for an additional $25. I agreed to. The website says it was shipped on 12/6 using priority mail (2-3 day delivery). I still have no camera. When I email them, I get no response. When I call, I get a recording that says "due to the high volume of calls" to please leave a message or for quicker results email them. At the end of the message, their voicemail box is full so I cannot leave a message. When I tried to call to ask a question about the charges for my camera they answered quickly. Now that I need my camera and it isn't here, they will not answer the phone. How can this be allowed?

I needed the camera because my daughter was leaving for a trip so they really messed things up for me.

Techtoysforless prides themselves on fast and accurate service, according to their website. however, they do not implement an automatic inventory tracking system. their product pages are hard-coded to say "in stock, ships the next day" for low-priced products (which show up first on product search engines). After i ordered the product (casio exilim EX-7V in silver), however, they said it was out of stock, and would i like the (more expensive) black version of the camera instead?
This is CLASSIC bait-and-switch. A deceptive sales practice that has been around for quite a while. You would expect it from some low-life dealers, but this place advertises across every once of its product pages how exemplary their customer service record is, including their Epinions certification. |

What a pain. I HATE sites that do not have accurate status of what they have in stock. I wanted 3 Casio Exilim camera for under $200. I wanted different colors for each family member. I clicked on each color of the EZX1050 that I wanted and all showed the stats of IN STOCK. I placed the order for a blue, black, and pink one. SIX days later I get an email saying they only have the silver one in stock. Even now the website still shows all colors available. I refuse to do business with them in the future. I tried to order another model with different colors, same experience. Horrible experience.

I ordered a camera and they shipped me the wrong one. It was a lower model than I paid for. I tried to contact them for several weeks. They did not answer the phone and finally when they did, told me that they would not exchange the camera for the right one. The guy on the phone would not give me his name and threatened me. NEVER again will I buy anything and I'm going to resort to legal means to get my Money back, if necessary. |

They don't specify in their site that if the billing and shipping addresses don't match is required to send a photo ID by fax or mail. This caused a delay. There was another delay after the package was shipped (I don't know the reason) and the status has not been updated to "delivered" yet, what it made me think that the package had not been delivered (and it was since some days ago). Their help to the customers is enough, but very impersonal and cold.
