The old "Bait and Switch!" I was desperately searching the internet for a Casio EX-Z75 Pink camera for my daughter's birthday. After a lot of searching, I came across a link to TechToysForLess.com. There website advertized the Pink EX-Z75 at a good price and listed it in several option packages.
I stopped bidding on a new camera on ebay because I thought I had now found what I was looking for at a better price. The problem is that the next afternoon, I received an email saying that the EX-Z75 was out of stock - in fact it isn't made anymore. (I know this, that is why I was searching so hard!) They offered to "upgrade" me to the newer EX-Z77 in Pink.
The Z77 is not an "upgrade!" It is newer, but it is more cheaply made. The case is not as rugged and it uses far more plastic parts (I know because I work on both models every day!)
I said, "Thanks, but no thanks" and began my search again. Funny thing is that the Z75 Pink is still listed on their website. Are they trying to bait another buyer or did they just not want to sell to me because I didn't buy one of their special "package deals?"
Oh well, TechToysForLess' loss is Amazon's gain! I found one listed there.
