the only problem was that the radios were smaller than I had expected. I had purchased similar products from a local store in the past, and I thought these were the same item. They were in fact just smaller. I will learn to measure size in the future, but I am happy overall with the products. I have not plugged them in yet, however, since they are gifts.

I had a question and called with my question and the company sent an e mail to me after being unable to contact me by phone. I appreciated tha even thought I had worked thru the problem which actually had nothing to do with the actual product. It was a technical problem having to do with my computer.

In my previous missive, I mentioned that the two items I ordered from Techforless, about an hour apart, were shipped separately. Thus, I incurred two shipping charges. The Nomad MP3 player is tiny, and easily would have fit into the Monitor Box. I received a follow-up e-mail from their customer service asking how I liked the products, timeliness of shipping and the usual sort of follow-up questions. I told them I was delighted, except for the two shipping charges. Now, they may ship from separate warehouses, or various suppliers, rather than one central location. I don't know. But I received an e-mail back offering to rebate the higher of the two shipping charges, which obviously was the monitor. That is what I call service. They were greatful I pointed out this "flaw" in their shipping room...

Thought initially I had a problem with the monitor, when I contacted them about it they were imediate with their response and even contacted me via phone. Customer service is outstanding! It turned out to be my video card now the monitor is clear and I love it.

Sale rep is very helpful, very satisfied when I bought the Samsung 17" LCD TV from the store. The TV arrived in perfect condition, even though it is an open-box item, but still brand new. Would buy again from this store.

The product was well-priced below the market. The disk arrived as planned on-time to a different address with no hassles. The follow-up e-mails to insure the arrival and successful installation were service that I would always prefer, but seldom get.

Credit card policies are very frustrating. I live in a rural area and get mail service at the US Post Office, thus my credit card address is a PO box. They ship FedEx, which requires a physical address. They are the first merchant I've ever come across that wouldn't ship a purchase to my home. I had to ship it to my office in order to place the order. Next time I'll buy from someone else.

Bought a FIREWIRE CARD from them which stated it came with a camera connection cable as described on their website.
The box was opened when I got it and the cable was missing.

The Sony infrared light I ordered was incompatible with my Sony camera, which was not evident from the merchant's description. Also, the return process was inconvenient. I had to call the merchant to get authorization, but there was no answer the first time. Then they had to e-mail me a return label.

I purchased an inexpensive Samsung DVD player from Tech for Less and was very impressed with their customer service. I received emails at practically every step of the transaction from purchase to shipping to after receipt. I did not have any problems with the player so I cannot vouch for the returns or troubleshooting aspect of their customer service. As far as I'm concerned these guys are the best. I look forward to doing business with them again.

Based on this purchase experience only, should perhaps rate Tech for Less as "Excellent" - but settled on Above Average due to limited range of items stocked (that is due to the nature of their business, but can be an inconvenience).

Product was advertised as a return or open box item however it seemed brand new to me. I have been an internet shopper for more than 6 years now and have come across a few companies whose services left something to be desired. Tech4less is NOT one of the latter. This company managed to offer the lowest base price plus delivery price for my Kodak Easyshare 6340 digital camera while also providing an attractive but efficient web site ordering experience. Internet security, delivery notification, shipping estimate accuracy, product quality, pricing, and overall experience among this venue for purchase is simply the best I have ever come across. This is significant, as I purchase from a variety of "big" names and have probably logged greater than 1000 online purchases. Highly recommended.

Great prices brought me to Tech for Less and outstanding customer service and products will bring me back. This company sets itself apart for the normal online tech companies by showing that it cares for it's customers.

I had purchased the wrong accessory for my new GPS unit and immediately called to see about replacing my purchase. Within one minute, I was speaking to the sales Manager about my situation. She placed me on hold, found the correct item, and shipped it out the same day. She only charged me the difference in price, between the two units and sent me a pre-paid shipping label to mail back the first order.

This company is fantastic. Both orders arrived as expected and were packaged securely. They will get my business again soon!

ADDENNUM to question "Did you receive the product(s) you expected, in good condition? Yes No" Initial shipment omitted one item of software bundle, however; with a phone call to customer services(rep) item was located and shipped overnight express the same day without extra charges to me. Tech for Less did everything they said they were going to do. They had the best price on my drive I could find. It was repackaged, but otherwise brand new. The customer service department was very responsive in terms of processing my order quickly. Package was damaged severely - however the equipment was fine. This is actually not a problem caused by Tech for Less, rather the fact that shipping companies (FedEx, UPS, Mail, etc) don't care at all for what happens with a package.

I bought a Maxtor 160 GB external hard drive that was bad and E-mailed them to get an exchange. After a slight delay, (two days) they arranged an even exchange for a Maxtor 200 GB external hard drive, which arrived in good condition overnight!

I purchased a wireless access point online. After installation I discovered that the product was incompatible with my network. I e-mailed the company, and they immediately issued a RMA, offered free return shipping and credited my account. No phone calls / pleadings required! Just superb customer service.

A waste of time. If you plan to buy something, as a gift, to be sent out to a friend or family member, it is impossible.
After 2 days of waiting for the tracking number, I had to contact them to find out they did not process my sale, because my billing address did not match the delivery address...therefore, ruling out the possibility of buying a gift.
Limited customer service. If they can not process a sale, they should contact the customer and advise them in time. If they do not have the tools to accommodate all kind of customers, they should advertise it so.
My credit card is from the USA, but I have my bank mail my statements to Chile, where I reside, and that has never stopped me from buying on line from serious merchants.

I was shopping for a laptop bag and found this HP F16606A model which suites my need. Order it from this company. 2 days passed, heard nothing from them. I sent an e-mail asking them to cancel my order.
The sales representative, named Erick, replied yesterday saying that the item is missing from their warehouse. Offer to give me a bigger bag, better quality, priced at $36.67, for the same price $25.00 of the original order. Asked him to give the model number, or a link to the product to check out the details. He instead sent me a bunch of pictures of the bag. Thanks, but that's no help. Laptop bags look alike, the only way to tell the quality is the written specs.
So I canceled the order. And guess what, today I came to their web site, and there it is HP F16606A listed for $26.67. No, I am not dreaming!
This is my first and last time stopping at their site.

I found a printer paper tray at Tech for Less on shopping.com. When I went to purchase the item on their website, they wanted $120.95 for shipping instead of the $9.87 that they advertised. The shipping weight of the product is 8 lbs. Because I could get a significant savings with their open box product, I sent them e-mail to inquire about the discrepancy. It is now over a week later and they never even bothered to respond to my message. I finally just bought the product from another company.

I bought RAM from this merchant and found the product was not as expected. Their product description may be sufficient for the very technically savvy but could be more detailed for the rest of us. Delivery speed was reasonable. Their return policy is not very buyer friendly. I would be reluctant to purchase from this merchant again.
