Customer Service at Taylor Gifts leaves much to be desired. The email communication is poor and information on package tracking was incorrect. Customer service reps on the phone were rude for the most part with no apologies for alternate shipping method used that was not what I paid for. The motto, "the customer is always right" does not exist there. Very disappointing and will never use their services again.

I placed an order with Taylor Gifts on November 21, 2005. My credit card was immediately charged but as of December 28, 2005, no merchandise. I e-mailed customer service with my order number--no response. I finally called and was told by a very rude customer service representative that "everybody makes mistakes." When I demanded my credit card be credited, the customer service representative hung up on me!
I will NEVER deal with this company again. |

I placed my Christmas order 11/18/05. Today (12/14/05) I called Taylor Gifts "Customer Service" to ask where my shipment is and their Miss Williams actually yelled at me (as if I was a troublemaker). She said I have to understand that I placed my order during the holidays. I reminded her I placed it before Thanksgiving -- she countered that Thanksgiving is a holiday.
Never again! She said she would refund the charge to my Visa card. I won't hold my breath. I'm 100% shocked by their lack of service at any level. |

I ordered something one evening at one price, and the next day my confirmation email came in at DOUBLE the price, and they had quickly charged my account WITHOUT authorization!!! I was lucky enough to have printed my original confirmation with the correct total. I then tried to call, faxed, and emailed, no success. Then I received another email confirming shipping of the items. Very poor! Returning the over priced items is a story I will spare all
. It was my first and last time ordering from them. I do not recommend them at all. I have shopping on the Internet with great success for years just keep looking around and save yourself the headache!

Delivery was prompt, order was accurate and product works, but since ordering from Taylor Gifts through Shop.com, I have received aggressive telemarketing phone calls from the company. From Taylor Gifts AND its sister companies Get Organized and Kitchens and More (neither of which I have ever ordered from) I am receiving a mountain of mail-order catalogs AND two or three e-mails DAILY, though prior to ordering I selected that I do NOT want to receive e-mails or catalogs. Each time I block their e-mail address(es), they send the spam from yet another slightly modified e-mail address! NOT worth the aggravation! Would only recommend to an enemy.

I ordered something over the phone from them on November-29-2004. They kept on promising me the my order will ship - BUT IT NEVER DID. I didn't get a tracking number. They didn't even give my me order number! Every time I call them I get hung up on. They have three numbers listed and I get hung up on each number!
They got sued by the Attorney General!!! What type of business is this???? |

I know that taylor gifts has had several negative reviews, so i wanted to add my own experience, as it was quite positive. After ordering the product (xpress101 GT) from the infomercial site, and waiting nearly 4 weeks with no product delivery, i decided to email Taylor gifts, as I saw they had the same product. They did indeed have the product on stock. I cancelled my order thru xpress101.com, and promptly ordered thru taylor gifts. Within one week i had the product at my doorstep via UPS. After waiting almost a month from the other place, this was a pleasant surprise. My first experience shopping thru taylor gifts and would probably shop again.

Ordered from their other catalog, Kitchen and Much More, in 3rd week of October. Still have not received all my merchandise as of this date, January 20, 2004. Didn't answer my first 2 emails. After I stated in a 3rd email I would contact Visa with a complaint of non-delivery of merchandise, I was answered with the message that the package had been lost in the mail and a new order would be sent. This was 2 1/2 to 3 weeks ago. Some merchandise arrived, but several items are missing that were already
paid for. I will not shop here again. I wonder if they really know how awful their service is. |

On Dec. 8th I purchased a xmas gift for my grand daughter. It was supposed to be delivered within two weeks. I called on Dec. 26th, 03, and was told it was just mailed that day. I left for vacation on Dec. 29th. I asked the post office to forward the package, if and when it was delivered, to my grand daughter in CT. Not knowing the weight of the package, I had to leave $10. to cover postage.
I have not heard anything yet. Never Again.

I cannot begin to tell you what a nightmare dealing with this company is. I placed a very large order online totaling almost $700 for about 52 items. My credit card was was charged almost immediately. Several weeks pass however, and no merchandise.

Taylor Gifts has horrible Customer Service.I did not ever receive an order I placed for 2 shoe storage boxes. I did receive a response once, promising to reply within 24 hrs. Never heard a word back and I wrote email after email!
I placed my order in early August and it is now the end of November! They are affiliated with Get Organized. I ordered the same thing from them and had the same problem. There should be something we can do about merchants like this. I had my shoes all over the floor, falling over them for weeks, before giving up on receiving my she storage/organizers! They do load me up with their junk mail now. They are the worst. Too bad for those who are good--like Harriet Carter??I got good service from that little catalog. NO MORE TAYLOR GIFTS for me__and possibly all of their affiliates!! If you do try them, make sure you aren't in a hurry! |

Being an online shopper, I find that alot of companies are fly-by-nighters. Taylor Gifts has been aroung since like 1952, that is why I feel confident with ordering from them. I have ordered everything from cookware to excercise equipment. They are really just a great company to deal with.

Awful! Including customer service hanging up on me simply because I firmly, but not rudely, requested that I be allowed to finish my sentence before the rep. interjected.
Order was delayed or lost because they shipped it U.S. mail instead of via FedEX as requested. Customer service reshipped without my final sign off on the terms! I wanted it reshipped ONLY if they would guarantee FedEx (just moved and needed stuff to finish unpacking!) The call was disconnected before they confirmed FedEx and before i agreed to reshippment. Tried calling back, but it was after hrs., got machine. They did reship - via U.S. Mail!! Now trying to get reimbursed. |

The worst experience I had with online merchant.
I ordered an item on Sept 23. Called them on Sept 24 and a customer service told me that my item will be shipped out in one day. (On the website, it listed they have the item in stock) After two days, I called them again and they told me my item is backordered and will have it in stock on Sept 30. I called them again on Oct 1, and they said my item is still backordered and may have it on Oct 6. Then on Oct 6, I was again told that the item is still backordered and now they have no idea when they will have it in stock. Besides that, ALL the customer service that I spoke to are rude. Finally I gave out. I ordered my stuff from other online merchant and cancelled the order on Oct 16. Before I cancelled my order on Oct 16, Taylor Gifts still hasn't shipped out my item. TRUST ME, YOU WILL BE HAPPIER TO PAY MORE $$ THAN DEAL WITH TAYLOR GIFTS. Life is too short to be wasted. |

The product, price and delivery were good and or fair. The order confirming communication through e-mail was efficient. Except the accounting, dept charged my card double of my order resulting higher balance than it shouls have been. I communicated through e-mail, because phone number was not available, of the mistake. The same day, Customer Dept of CatalogCity.Com sent an acknowledging e-mail of my message and informing me that they will route my message to the Cataloger and that I will be getting response within two days. However, it has been 5 days and I still have not received any response from them.
