The Taylor Gifts website misrepresented the item I was seeking to purchase.
Full review
I searched online for the Red Exerciser DX and followed links that ended at the GetOrganized (Taylor Gifts) website. I ordered what I believed to be a Red Exerciser DX but received the Red Exerciser XL model. When I retraced the links, I found that the DX model was specifically referenced on several pages, but the final link to purchase the DX led to a Taylor Gifts product page that did not refer to either the XL or DX model, but only to the "Red Exerciser." The Taylor product page indicated that the Red Exerciser they were selling was originally $179 but now $99 which further led me to believe that it was the DX model I was purchasing since the DX model normally sells for $179 and the XL model sells for about $100 (and has never been $179). After some confusion over the return policy, which was stated one way on the website, another way on the item invoice, and explained a third way on the phone by their customer service, I returned the item and asked for (1) a full refund of the item including ($16) shipping charges (2) that the refund be provided within 30 days instead of up to two billing cycles as stated on their invoice and (3) that their website clarify that they are selling the XL model, not the DX model. I received a timely refund for the item but not the shipping costs. It has been 4 weeks since I notified Taylor Gifts of the misleading data on their website and the website still contains the misleading data. Given this, and other questionable practices I related to Taylor Gifts but have not outlined here, I do not believe Taylor Gifts is a reputable vendor and I will not do business with them again.
