Website sucks

Shopping at an actual Target store it great, however, shopping online is the worst experience ever.  They seriously need to redo their website.  I'm taking off my baby registry and will never buy online again from Target.  So slow, won't load properly, broken links, list goes on and on.....

I ordered a fire pit that was receieved damaged.  When I called customer service that is actually located in the philippines, the manager argued and hung up on me.  I tried to call back and another was rude and wouldn't help.  Target can you please hire USA workers for customer representative jobs?????  There are lots of people looking for work!!!  Then, we can understand them at least and they won't hang up on us just because they think they can!!!  Don't order from Target Online!!!!!

40 day expected delivery time and horrible response by cust service

Placed a 2 item order on Dec 1 st.  Received an email today (dec17) that one item is cancelled and the 2nd won't be delivered until Jan10th!  Called customer service and was told their system was updating and to please call back in 30 minutes (its currently 12:30 am)!!!!

For a large established company they certainly don't have their act together for online ordering.  The kicker is that the price dropped on each item by $50 two days after I ordered. I sent two separate emails on the price change and received no response to either.  

I expected better from Target. They shouldn't have an online site that appears professional and well managed when that is definitely not the case. 

The website says that any changes to the order will be communicated with details on the change via email. The email sent to me only stated that one item was cancelled. I don't know why as that definitely wasn't communicated in the email nor online in the order info when I looked it up. 

I will never order from them again!

TARGET.COM NEVER DELIVERED

DON'T BUY FROM TARGET.COM--I bought a GPS on cyber Monday.  It was to be shipped UPS.  UPS for some unknown reason delivered it to the local post office.  I have recieved several other packages from UPS directly at my residence.  The local post office cannot find it and advised me that when a shipnment is recieved from UPS it is signed for in bulk and therefor hard to track.  Through 5 hours of investigation and phone calls to UPS, the local post office and Target called Target.com customer service.  I spoke to the 3 supervisors to suposedly get to the lead supervisor.  Being that they no longer had the GPS I ordered in stock, she offered me a full refund or a mere 10% discount on the newer model.  This newer model was 3 times the price and was not on sale.  After explaining to her how much time and effort I had spent and that her offer was not acceptable to me she got very rude.  VERY DISSAPOINTING SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I will never order from Target again. My order was shipped to the wrong address. I tried to reorder, and they would not me send another order. They would not credit my charge card BACK THE FULL AMOUN. Instead, sent me a ecard for tax and shipping. I have to print this off and take it to a store over 50 miles away ,then see a store clerk for a gift card. It was only $7. I was on the phone over and hour to get this. He asked for my order # 6 times and was placed on hold 4 times.

bad target experience!

Here is what just happenned: I saw this camera on the website for $99.99 and it was available in the store fayetville syracuse. I went to the store and ask for the camera. They told me that store price is $199.99 and they dont want to match the price. Then I called costumer service and explained that it has different store price and he made me  wait for a couple of minute and turned back me and  told that it is 199.99 online price. In few minutes he raised the online price  from 99.99 to 199.99 and lied to me. This was not I expected from such a big chain store.

Would NEVER order from Target on line again!  Because they ship items separately, they can withhold over 3x what the actual charge is for 2 weeks after delivery. Amazon much better and more reliable!

Target.com = HORRIBLE

Target.com website: SERIOUSLY broken shopping experience. Website is a disaster. Order summary showed 2 items shipping to 0 addresses.  Called Customer Service to review order.  Entire order was re-entered by CS rep.   Order was never transmitted to the order fullfillment.  Called a week later when I didn't get a shipping status email.  First told order was in process.  Insisted on escalating call.  Next person told me order wasn't sent to fullfillment.  Finally shipped.  Website Customer Service is probably the same place that "Peggy" (from the banking commercial) works. Finally received the items and had to return (at regular Target store) and could only get a Target gift card for a refund.  Finally got the corporate number for Target in Minneapolis and spoke to someone who understands and speaks English, and who was quite apologetic about the Target.com shopping experience, but unable to resolve my issue to my satisfaction. WORD TO THE WISE: DO NOT do any shopping on Target.com. The folks at the brick and mortar stores are great...shop there. And do you your friends a favor and re-post this anywhere and everywhere you can (Facebook, other blogs, etc)...save them the time, headache and money.

Target's online support is terrible.    I spent over 7 hours
hassling with them - they keep spinning me around and
the wait is ridiculous.   I finally got something when I
threaten to contact BBB and hung up on them.

Their brick and mortar stores are fine.  I never hassled with
return with them, so I can't say anything.   I buy cheap
stuffs at their stores and just don't expect to return
anything - not worth the hassle.  Just avoid buying online.

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from Target online.  I placed an order for a console table and received an email confirming the order and an approximate delivery date for the following week (a three day range).  The first of the 3 possible delivery dates rolled around and I still had not heard back from Target, so I spent the next two weeks making multiple calls to the customer service dept, each time getting a different story (delivery was on schedule, there was something wrong with the credit card info, delivery was postponed, etc.).  I even sent two emails to the customer service department via the Target website to try to get a straight answer but never got any reply.  I finally called back and insisted on canceling the order - despite their stupid '30-minute cancelation' policy, and the rep finally agreed to do so.  I just hope it was actually canceled and that I don't wind up being charged at some future point if they should ever decide to actually ship the item.  I'll never order from Target's website again.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE ONLINE SHOPPING

I am VERY disappointed with Target's online shopping experience.  I received an email about their furniture, and had seen some ads on television, and was excited to see what they had.  I was looking for some nightstands.  Of all the styles I was interested in (over 30) every single one was out of stock, with no information as to when or if they would be back in stock.  I attempted to contact customer service via email, but this just takes you back in an endless loop to the topics, and never allows you to actually send an email.  I then attempted to contact them via the 800 number, which has a recording saying they are too busy to talk, and to please call back.  It then offers a very limited menu of options, none of which applied to my topic.
For me, I think it's worth the few extra $$$ to work with another company, where you can actually speak with someone or have an easier way to contact customer service.

Horrible

there is no customer service with target.  I placed an order for the target belmont patio furniture and ottoman..After waiting all day for the order to arrive and spending hours assembling the items, it was discovered that two of the items were defective.  Next you spend hours on the phone trying to resolve this problem.  Their solution, disassemble the items, replace it in the orginal box, wait all day for pick up and then place another order. Wow no consideration for my time and efforts.  My time is valuable, and taking two days off work for pick up and delivery is
not respectful of that. Their solution, they would be happy to help me place another order and they are arranging to have the items picked up.
How thoughtful.

Poor quality -Sunjoy Gazebo -Havenbury Factory Replacement Canopy Parts - L-GZ081PST-2.

I am extremely unhappy with the Sunjoy Havenbury Factory Replacement Canopy Parts - L-GZ081PST-2.  The canopy that I recieved from Target.com does not last for more than 1 yr.  The replacement canopy is approx 69.99 plus tax and is not worth the money.  The canopy's stitching is such that it will tear within a relatively short time period.  I do love my gazebo and have had to replace the canopy, mosquito neeting and sun shade almost every year which has become quite costly. I just ordered another canopy replacement from Target.com only because I could find no other canopy that would fit my existing gazebo style.  I believe the manufacturer intentionally uses cheap material and poor stitching to insure that buyers will have to purchase Sunjoy Havenbury Factory Replacement Canopy Parts over and over again.  Truely unhappy with the quality of their product.  Also when ordering it through target.com they sent me the wrong color of the item twice

Pitiful. Really awful customer service. After the wrong crib was sent I spent over an hour on the phone trying to process the return. Surreal experience. After waiting fifteen minutes even to talk to a representative, I was then repeatedly placed on hold for minutes at a time. The simplist questions such as whether the item we actually ordered was in stock would result in five minute holds. After nine or ten iterations of this my only conclusion was either Target is completely incompetent and should abandon its online business or that I had fallen prey to some bizarre psychological experience measuring human endurance.

Frustrating and disappointing

The Target website is terrible. I find it hard to locate what you are looking for. I feel that the Target organization is not organized. They have just upgraded their website and the only thing that is upgraded is the look. The website is still not functioning as it should and they started the upgrade around two weeks ago. You would think that a multi-million dollar company would be more organized and more efficent in getting their website working properly in the least amount of time possible. I have a baby registry on their site which I was not able to update and evetually had to get help in starting a new registry. It makes me want to cancel my registry and just add all the items to a Babies R Us registry. Their site is about as helpful as their in-store associates, which is slow and not helpful at all. They should probably invest more money in training their employees and hiring a better company to complete their website upgrade and just upgrading the look of their company.

Recieved a damaged item, told to return at store and they would send a new one.  The store said they couldn't reship the item or credit the shipping and that i had to contact target.com.  Target.com site wouldn't accept my order number, called as was told I needed to talk to someone else and hung up after an hour and a half.  Customer service at store said they still couldn't help me, called back.  Put on hold for another half hour, hung up. Finally got someone who got me to someone help.  3 hours wasted on their problem.

The worst online experience I have ever had.

To sum it up I wish I could give them less than one check mark.

I placed an order last Saturday and have gotten several emails one after the other stating that they have had errors with the order and that they have cancelled items on my order. The links that they send in the emails do not work. I've made 4 attempts to call and just keep getting shuffled about. I have asked to speak with a supervisor and have been put on hold, I have emailed their support and received only automated responses. I even spoke with a rep who pretended not to hear me when I called although I was sure I chad a signal and could hear her as clear as a bell. The site itself is easy enough to use, but I am now stuck with less than two weeks and no baby shower gifts. I order online constantly and will never order from target.com again if I can help it. It has been a most frustrating experience.

Do not order fast shipping!!!

I placed an order and payed extra to get it shipped with 1 day shipping.  It took two days to go to shipping and then it was shipped ground.  When I called them they gave me a run-a-round about the estimated shipping date on the order.  I don't care what the estimated date was when they didn't ship it the way I ordered.  Why do they have different levels of shipping if they only ship ground?  I will never shop at Target again.

Hotest weather fans not shopped over a month!!!

The worst!!!  During the worst heat we suffered!!! Order for fans was first never shipped out, after promised it was. Tracking order lost. Order then not shipped. Still have'nt received the order. Sucks...NEVER again. We also learned later they have a policy of DISCRIMINATION against gays of all things. OMG! What 
KIND of people do that? People who don't run companies well. Done with them.

I ordered an in-stock tablet on May 21st.  On June 16, days after it should have arrived, I got an e-mail telling me it would be another 2 weeks before I received the tablet.  I called customer service and canceled the order.  I was told the order was canceled, so imagine my surprise when on July 18th I got a shipping notice and my card was charged.  When I called and asked why it had been shipped after I canceled my order I was told that the "cancel request" had been denied.  I was never told that was a possibility.  I was told positively that the order had been canceled.  I asked why I was not informed that the cancel request had been denied I was told that the shipping notice WAS the notice that the order could not be canceled.  I did receive the tablet, nearly 2 months to the day after I had ordered it, and a month after canceling the order.  I will never shop Target or Target.com again.

5 days and no shipment... cancelled my order. I ordered on a monday and the product was showing as if it was in stock. Friday evening i cancelled my order because when I checked on it, it still had not shipped... I would expect such a large retailer would have their act together and get orders out in a more timely fashion..

Placed a pre-order online because the they had a good price on the item that I wanted.  A few days later, I received an E-mail from Target saying that my order was canceled.  I called customer service and I could barely understand the person that answered.  The person was very unhelpful and I requested to speak with a manager, but they weren't able to do that either. 

Won't be shopping with target online ever again.

Unreliable stock & order status

This was my first (and last) experience with target.com.  I'd previously ordered Target items way back when they were serviced by Amazon and was pleased with the service.  I've also been happy with the 2 local stores. 

It was a mistake to expect the same service from target.com.  I ordered a Blu-Ray disc of a popular title, listed as "in stock" when I ordered.  2 days later the item status becomes "ships in 4-6 weeks" and then back to "in stock" another 2 weeks later.  All this time, my order is stuck at "shipping soon", and customer service states the order can't be cancelled because the item is supposedly shipping "soon".  Lessons learned: 1. "In stock" does not mean that, and 2. Don't shop at target.com if you need your items in a timely or predictable fashion.

My item still has not shipped, and my intention is to return the item to the local Target store for a refund and buy it cheaper elsewhere, since prices have dropped in the >2 weeks target.com has been sitting on my order.

I have to say, I've always had good experiences when shopping online (or in store) with Target. They ship promptly, which is very important to me when a store charges me as soon as the order is placed (which more and more companies seem to be doing). I've never had a problem with anything I've received via an Internet order, so I haven't tried returning anything bought that way, but I've returned store bought items with no fuss more than once.

Also, their shipping estimates are accurate, which is very important to me, particularly when a store charges me at the time that I place the order.

PS. any marks that I gave that are less than excellent are because I never had issues that tested their customer service policies, so I can't rate them fully.

Noticed that Target had a sale on an item and decided to stock up. I added 13 to my cart and the price came out to be $51. These items are each about the size of a box of matches. After I went through checkout my shipping charge, for normal 3-5 day ground, was $72! I canceled the order immediatly and bought from Amazon. There is nothing just about their shipping charges. All of my items could have easily fit in a 12x12x6 box. Paying thier price would have been more then buying the items retail with shipping from the manufacturer.
