Purchased a heavy black living room table,came and was packaged defective right from the get go, who ever put it in the box knew it had a chunk of black wood missing from the bottom of the leg,we noticed this after my husband had it all put together about 30 minutes later,very disappointed after seeing this and it was all put together,we looked in the box that it came in several times and no piece of wood,so it had to be done before put in box. I looked up what to do and it said I could return to store or mail it back. Hello I'm not packaging up a heavy wood table thats put together already from us and paying to ship back so I e-mailed and called Target.com services and they gave me the same options except they said if I wanted to keep it they would just refund me $30.00 and I took that for it would of been a hassle any other way,all in all I was happy and will paint the bottom of the missing wood piece black and you should not even noitce it. Just beware of buying heavy items online it can be a hassle on returning them. Have purchased other items and have taken back to local store with no problems. Just beware on buying furniture or large items online. Check out your purchase all over right out of the box before you put it together!! Lesson learned.
