I placed order for several thousand dollars (~2500) hoping to use 10% off deal when open Target Visa card. However, they did approve with temp limit of 250$, which means at most you can save 25$. It is not mentioned anywhere that the 10% off had a limitation. The customer service rep suggested I buy $2200 on e-card and then use it in combination with Target card to avoid the card limit issue. Well... $2200 charged on my personal card did not go thru and they said it will require 24-48 hours to complete the transaction. I understand this is probably done for security reasons but in that case should not advertise e-card with 'Need to Give a Gift fast?' -- also false advertisement. So I had to cancel this transaction. As a result, I did not save any money off that deal, had two applications ran against my and my wife SSNs, spent hours (literally) with them on the phone, have been transferred probably 10 times between Target.com, Target Headquarters, Target Credit Services and their overseas support line.... Still no resolution. I filed a BBB complaint against Target.com as I believe this 10% deal is a false advertisement. Will never buy from them again. And would never recommend this site to no one.
