Full review
Target is an on line store that my wife and I shopped at a few times. While we like the store that we go to in our state. We were not very fond of the web site store. I would have to say that our over all experience was pretty lousy. I will get in to more detail about it below. But let me start by saying it is not a very good choice for shopping, and we gave them more then one chance.
The prices:
The prices at the Target web site are pretty good. I can not really complain about the prices. They are more then fair and some items are rather cheap compared to other stores that I have been to. The shipping charges are average and not too expensive.
The products:
Target does have a wide variety of items to choose from. They have an electronics sections, toys and games section, video games section, computer parts and computer section. Target has a full section of clothing for every age and gender. You are certain to find some thing for every one on the Target web site. How ever what you see may not be what you get. The pictures show one thing and some times you get another. I will explain more about that below. However, the items that they sell are nice items. Most are name brand and if they are not name brand they are still rather nice.
What we ordered:
We ordered a variety of items from the Target web site. We bought some clothing items, jeans and so fourth for both my wife and my self. I bought the kids a few toys, baby items and a few other things.
Our experience:
The first time we ordered we bought the jeans. First we got an email saying they were on back order, then my wife's jeans arrived and mine did not. Her's were supposed to be the ones on back order. I called and emailed the site and got no response as to where the rest of my order was for about a week. Then they emailed me the next week stating that my order had just left the facility. I did not complain further but was upset by the delay.
When my jeans came in the mail I was shocked to see that the jeans that I ordered were size 34/30 and the jeans that I got were 36/30 and were not even the brand that I had purchased! Now I was angry about it. I called and emailed again, waited some more. I did get one of them to say they were sorry the next week. It was a month before I got the right items that I ordered.
The second time we place the order was more or less to give them a second chance. We figured the odds of some thing like that happening to us more then once were not too good. We ordered the toys, a few house hold items and a baby bath tub.
This time we waited a month before they could track our order. They said that it was delivered but it was not. After fighting with them by email and by phone by magic they found my order. I told them I no longer wanted the items, and that I already purchased them in the store where we live. They sent the items any ways. They charged me to return them back and did not credit our credit card for two months more after that.
Ease of ordering:
Ordering is the only easy thing we did. We just chose the items that we wanted, added them to the cart and checked out. It was as simple as that. We had no trouble with the ordering process. You need to fill out the shipping and billing information after you check out. Then you select a shipping option and a payment option. They accept all credit cards, gift cards and other methods for payment.
My recommendation:
Turn back, stop now, dead end, wrong way turn. STAY AWAY from the Target web site. The customer service is nasty. They are rude and do not return calls or emails till they are good and ready. They all had an attitude problem. I was shocked by how bad the service was. I will never shop there again and my wife will not shop there either. We do not recommend the Target web site. It is a waste of time and money.
