Amusingly, I found them searching for an item they /didn't/ have. I was looking for toner for a Magicolor 2430DL, nix, this they didn't have, but the format of my search brought them up anyway, and what they /did/ have was the Duplexer unit at about /half/ the cost of anyone else. I thought about it, searched some more, kept their screen up while doing so, thought some more...

Ordered the Duplexer. They sent some nice emails welcoming me to their customer base and informing me of shipping status, tracking codes, the good stuff. Product arrived the day they predicted Fedex would deliver it, right about lunch time. Took a bit to figure out all the installation stuff, but that's nothing to do with TechOnWeb. Unit works /fine/.

Melissa from TECHONWEB customer service was fantastic in responding and correcting my order after I received CDs instead of a blue tooth headset which I originally ordered.

She was very helpful in expediting the correct order and kept me informed every step of the way. She turned a what could have been an ugly customer service situation into a pleasant one.

TERRIBLE Experience. I emailed Techonweb before purchasing to see if an item (WD Velociraptor) was OEM or retail. I was advised it was retail, but I received the OEM version. It took me 3 phone calls and 7 emails to return the item, and they wanted me to pay return shipping even though it was their mistake. Also, the $300 hard drive I ordered was shipped in a card board box with no protective packing material!!

I obtained customer service within about 4-8 hours. I had questions for both sales and rma. I received a prompt and accurate reply from both. I received the modem in perfect condition well ahead of schedule and I was up and running in a few days (only because my schedule was too busy that particular day). My experience was perfect in every way. I understood all the policies and knew what to expect the whole time - A+ - Great job TechOnWeb :-)

THE SHOPPING FOR THE PRODUCT WAS FINE IN ALL ASPECTS EXCEPT FOR THE PACKING OF THE COMPUTER. IT WAS POORLY PACKAGED AND DID NOT HAVE ADEQUATE PACKING TO PROTECT THE INTERNAL BOX CONTAINING THE COMPUTER. iF THE MANUFACTURERS PACKAGING HAD NOT BEEN GOOD I AM VERY SURE THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN DAMAGE DUE TO ROUGH HANDLING DURING SHIPPING AS THE OUTER BOX WAS HALF CRUSHED!!!!!

I am completely happy with my experience doing business with TechOnWeb. They had the lowest price for the item I was shopping for and they offered free shipping. I expected to wait the maximum estimated time for my order but it arrived in about three days, (and I ordered it at about 9:45PM on a Friday!).

Techonweb is a fabulous resource for us. We are a mid-size publisher of music and have elected to print our own music on a large HP color laser jet. The toner locally OR from HP is incredibly expensive - so Techonweb's prices make it possible for us to grow and expand our business. AND your service is always excellent - shipping reliable. BUT only one negative: Wish you would not require signature on delivery - it is only toner - not something of value to anyone. And our drop location is inside a gated area, totally out of view to the passer-by. We cannot always be here awaiting delivery and have missed a couple of deadlines due to running out of toner. I understand that policy when it comes to 99% of what you sell - but for toner?? I URGE YOU to consider dropping the 'signature required' on toner. Otherwise - thanks for your top-notch service and congratulations on having truly helpful CSRs on board. THANK YOU!!!

Purchased a remote control for an Optoma EP739 video projector. Paid with credit card immediately. Remote arrived in adequate time. Didn't work properly, and was given two options to correct it, wait, and wait longer. Pay more and get less. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
