I purchased a security camera through their web site using a credit card which went smoothly. Two interesting things though: 1) The camera was shipped before I could confirm with my credit card company that I did make this purchase. 2) I expected the delivery to take 5-7 days, however, the camera was delivered in two days -- luckily I was working from home that day so I could sign for the package.

I purchased an ASUS tablet keyboard. Upon receipt it was tried within 10 minutes and confirmed that there were issues with ASUS with a new software download that completely changed the mouse performance and would not completely connect when using a screen protector for the tablet face. I notified Techonweb immediately and they responded they don't take any ASUS products back regardless of the reasoning. After a couple of futal attemps I notified the credit card company who was of help. After I returned the product by USPS priority to, and received by, them in 5 days, they disputed my claim saying they never got the box. I had to submit again a copy of the shipping label and USPS Track and Confirm, all of which clearly indicated their RMA number and well as my marking the box. This is neither a responsible or professional company in my experience.

I just recently ordered a Sony Home Theater on April 1.The price was a lot less then the next closest retailer and yours included free delivery and no tax.
I receive my order on the fourth business day as promised.The unit is just great,it sounds better then I thought it would.I am 100% satisfied with your service,however the unit was missing the HDMI cord and I landed up buying one on my own.(you still owe me one)
I would recommend your company and the Sony product to anyone looking for a good product and at a great price.Thank you.

FAST order processing.  FAST delivery.  Brand new item, no problems at all.  Wish they used UPS instead of FEDEX, but it all went fine this time (although FEDEX listed the item as "on truck for delivery" Saturday, but it was Monday before it arrived, but that's FEDEX's weirdness).  Excellent order, would purchase again, no reservations (except the FEDEX bit).
Having Paypal as a checkout option is great too.

I ordered a projector 12/30/2010 for $681, but they cancelled my order 1/6/2011 because that projector has higher price now. They told me "sorry about canceling your order but we don't want to lose money" What?! Clearly TECHONWEB does NOT honor its price as listed on their website!!

Horrible!  Just plain horrible.  I ordered the item on 11/28 and it was listed as "in stock."  After a month of them stringing me along, I canceled the order and instantly found it from another seller who shipped it to me with free two-day shipping.

Again, HORRIBLE misrepresentation of stock and stringing along by customer service.

I would reccommend AVOIDing this company AT ALL COSTs.  Unless, of course, you are the type of person that doesn't mind being strung along only to waste your time.

I recently purchased a Sony BDP S-570 Blu-Ray player from TechOnWeb. It was the second of this particular player I purchased (I liked the first so much, I bought a second for the upstairs - I highly recommend if you're looking) and my first experience with TenOnWeb.
The search and order process with TehOnWeb was easy and their web site worked well. I received timely emails with order confirmation and shipment notification, and my player arrived three days after I placed my order - very fast delivery.
The only concern was the way my player was packaged and I think they dodged a bullet on this. The player was dropped into a larger box with absolutely no packing materials to cushion it in transit. The player came through unscathed, but the potential for damage in shipping by packing in this manner seems pretty high to me. TenOnWeb, if you're reading this you may want to review your packing operations.

TechOnWeb telephone customer service is excellent. Melissa Johnson was courteous, helpful, and prompt in addressing my concerns about a possibly defective product. Somehow she managed to get a replacement ground shipment to arrive the next day. Followup calls with her were also helpful, as she referred me to to the product helpline.

in this BIZ time is so important and tech on web just ship by fedex. always i asked about cargo, but didn't get clear answer yet. speed of cargo so better for our job.

Overall I had a good experience. The product was as described, good price, and fast delivery.

The reason I rate them 4 instead of 5 stars is because of their shipping info. They required a signature on this shipment, but did not provide the shipping info until 4 hours before it arrived. Either they need to drop the signature requirement or provide the shipping info much sooner.

I order a lot of items online and almost without exception I receive the shipping info before the item is even picked up. There is no reason Techonweb can't do this.

I was very impressed with TECHONWEB because they shipped my package fast. I ordered my Sony Portable DVD player on April 6 and I received it on April 9 so I was very impressed.

I had to sign for my package through FEDEX which was fine and the box it came in was not damaged at all. When I opened the box it was tightly fit in the box and it was packaged very well so I knew that my portable DVD player was safe.

I went online and tracked my package at the TECHONWEB website which led to the FEDEX website and I knew where my package was and when it would be at my front door so that was great.

I work at a college and I recommended TECHONWEB to some of the students and the staff I work with and I will shop with TECHONWEB again.   

I don't know why people can be so negative about this website, because if you had bad service it was probably YOUR FAULT in the first place.

I used a few shopping bots to check on prices. TechonWeb and one other site had the best price with free shipping.  I liked the easy to use, clear website and the details on shipping.  We had already decided on what we wanted to purchase and it was easy to find the item we wanted by product number. The order process was simple and clear.  We got instant confirmation  (not unusual , but I liked that it was in the form on an invoice which is what we like to keep for our accounting records.
We got shipping info right away.We got the item (just as ordered) very quickly.   We would definitely use this site again and recommend it.

Prior to purchase, I had an experience via the telephone with the customer service which was very good and helpful. The wait times on the phone are not long at all. The agent-lady helped me completely resolve a purchase-related issue over the phone. Additionally, I am amazed by the fact that the item reached me the next day after I placed the order via free ground-shipping! Absolutely amazing!!!

I have been using the product for a week or so - no complaints yet. But just going by the level of customer service, if this is truly the level of customer service TechOnWeb provides consistently, I would have no hesitation in purchasing from them again and again, and recommending them to friends and family.

Had to call Customer service once and e-mail them once before I recieved my Tracking number, once I recieved the tracking number everything else went smoothly, no problems with transaction(paypal), shipment was ontime via fedex, product was double packaged, box was brand new never opened, product worked! I cannot recommend this vendor. I ordered a cartridge using the information on their page which turned out to be erroneous (Xerox 6350 cyan).  The cartridge arrived just fine and I experienced no problems in terms of getting it.  Since it was after the 20-day return period, they would not even do an exchange though I explained to them that you don't install a new cartridge until the old one expires.  My printer told me it did not support the cartridge, so I was not able to print even one page. So the cartridge remained completely unused.  Still, no willingness to consider an exchange. I was able to engage customer support by phone and email, but, though initially cordial, eventually the service rep. accused me of "blackmail" when I told him I would write a negative review of the site. Unprofessional, to say the least. Stay away from this vendor!

We chose TechOnWeb for our new HP printer because they offered the best pricing/delivery options and were "Best Rated" as a vendor.  Communications from TechOnWeb were more than satisfactory, and the item actually arrived by FedEx in two days, ahead of schedule - and in its own/sealed box.  After opening the box, some of the parts appeared to be have been possibly re-packaged, but if so, the job was done so well we could not say for sure.  Nevertheless, the printer was complete and worked fine after assembly and installation.
