Do not trust TechOnWeb.com!!!!!! 

I placed an order for a new PC which was in stock on Dec. 23 which was immediately charged against my credit card and a paid order confirmation was sent to me that same day sting that shipping details would immediately follow.

After several attempts to reach customer service at techonweb.com I heard back from them on Dec. 8th with an apology for the delay is shipping my PC, and assured me in writing it would be shipped that day. 

A few hours later their customer service called me to state that even though the credit card charge had been approved on Dec. 3rd, and that the shipping address matched the credit card billing address and the charge was already approved and processed against my credit card (meaning that techonweb.com already had my money which I verified with my Credit card company), they would not ship my PC until I forced my credit card company to provide techonweb with written permission that it was OK for me to purchase a PC.
My credit card is a corporate Amex Gold Card, with absolutely no payment / fraud issues – I contacted Amex and they were equally surprised as the order was already merchant funded days ago -  and they advised me to be careful dealing with online companies when I experience these type of issues.  

It was then that I realized that techonweb had no intention of shipping my PC, in all likelihood never had the PC stock as they promised many times over, and somehow thought that not fulfilling my order with various excuses would buy them additional time. 

I asked them to call my credit card company with me on the line, and was told their phone system does not have conference call capabilities, so I offered to make the 3 way call and then they stated that they can only work with written letters from credit card companies??? 

Basically this company cannot fulfill on fully paid orders, and instead decided to tell the customer that everything is their fault???   

I have already contacted my credit card company and they have reversed the charges, something techonweb claimed to have done but did not.

Do not trust TechOnWeb.com!!!!!!
