I shop online almost exclusively (Lands End, Ralph Lauren, Kohls, CWD Kids,etc,etc) and this was the worst experience I have ever had with an online store!!!!!! I ordered a swim parka (not a custom one) that was supposedly shipping out within 24 hours

Terrible. Many items listed in catalog are backordered; so, revised order and its been Over 10 days and order still has not shipped. Customer service is the worst I have every experience from any Internet company. Recommend shopping elsewhere.

When ordering, I was told that if placed before noon, it would ship that day- just like the webpage states (or next day if after noon). So, living only 25 miles away, and everything in stock, it should arrive by Saturday with standard shipping* and I order (Monday, 9:30PST). 3 days later, I get notice that it has just shipped! No answer on the phone from customer svc, had to leave a message with the order dept. No return call received. I call later and get the typical "we're sorry, shipping's backed-up" blah-blah-blah. Oh, and "it won't be there by Saturday". Thanks! Now I have to go find the stuff locally, and we leave for vacation in 3 days. So much for convenience!
*I was told that they ship USPS- no problem. The shipping confirmation states "DHL at Home Deferred", and has a tracking number. When I called back, I was told that that's DHL using the USPS, and the tracking number is useless. Calling DHL I learned that this "service" also adds 2-3 days to the shipment. Thanks Again- NOT!!! |

I Order My product on Wednesday at 8:30 AM. They are located and ship there products 14.2 miles from my house exactly. I was told the item would ship out that day. After not receiving it on Friday, I called and was told the item was in stock but hadn't shipped yet and they didn't know why. I was told it would ship that day. I later received a DHL confirmation even though I was told it was being shipped USPS. The item didn't ship on Friday like I was told, DHL was just electronically notified. The Item didn't actually ship until Tuesday and I received it on Wednesday. Did I mention they did not let me will-call even though I am 14.2 miles away. My credit card was charged as soon as I ordered though.
IT TOOK 8 DAYS TO RECEIVE AN ITEM IN STOCK ONLY 14.2 MILES AWAY!!!!!!!!!! I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered from this place!!! |

I ordered two Tyr women's suits. I received both suits in 4 days. Very fast delivery. The suits were exactly as I ordered. I didn't deal with customer service because I knew the size of the suits that I needed. Overall satisfaction for this online store is excellent. My next suit(s) will be ordered thru this website. The suits were discounted from what I can buy at any local stores. I scuba dive and these suits fit well, dry fast and are comfortable wearing under a wetsuit. My last Tyr suit maintained its color after 3 years and I am still wearing it. I am not sure why the previous buyers are so unhappy but people tend to complain a lot more than give an excellent rating.

Horrible customer service! I received the wrong item. They said they would send me a UPS label and I still haven't received it 2 weeks later.They did send me the correct item, which is good. I have left 2 messages and no response. Everytime I call, you get a message that they can't take your call. I need to send back the wrong item and the waterproof headphones because they are HORRIBLE. Don't buy them!

never had a problem with these guys, and i've shopped there a lot. i am a competitive masters swimming and training part time (sort of) for a triathlon next year, so I have been going through a lot of suits. swim outlet's totally the cheapest i've seen, which is enough for me...it's just nice that they always seem to get my order right on top of things!

WORST EVER ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!!
Seriously... I understand that they have moved and things may be behind schedule... but this is absolutely inexcusable! I placed my order on 5/29. I paid for 4-7 business day shipping... I live in the area and figured it would easily arrive within that time frame. WRONG! My order.. which shows as complete inside the invoice in the box... was not complete when it arrived 11 BUSINESS DAYS later. I attempted to call... BUSY! I finally used chat. After a hold on chat of nearly 15 minutes... I was in touch with "Jenny" who apologized and said the missing suit would be sent out "THAT DAY" 6/13. When the suit had not arrived by 6/19 (I live only about 30 miles away) I attempted to call again. This time I was put on hold forever. So I used the chat feature again. Turns out the missing suit IS NOT IN STOCK! Why did it take almost a month to figure this out!!!??? HORRIBLE SERVICE! |

Ordered the products on line, all products (9 of 10) arrived within a week of ordering. One product was not included in box, but was indicated on order form that it was inlcuded. Item could not be shipped out until 1 week later. It has been 12 days since intial order and missing item is supposed to be shipped out today. I think that is too long for a missing item to be delayed.

After placing the order and receiving the order confirmation, the web site stated that orders placed after April 24 would not be shipped until April 30 because the offices were being moved. Although I placed my order before April 24, I have not received my order yet and the tracking information states that only the shipping information has been received.

You simply cannot beat the prices at SwimOutlet.com. I had a wonderful experience in purchasing my warm-up suit. I expected to receive it in about 7 days but got it the next day! When I called to ask a question about another product the phone rep was as nice and helpful as any phone rep I've ever spoken with. They even have a live chat option that is available 12 hours a day. This company has it together and I highly recommend them!

I also tried to return a bathing suit that did not fit. I sent 2 emails to get a return authorization number and called for about 2 weeks every day to try and reach someone at the customer service center. They didn't respond to my emails nor my voicemails even after the 30 day return window had passed. Then they had "no record" of my efforts to get a return authorization code. Do not try this company if you are not 100% certain of the size you need!

To the contrary of the other reviews, I was very pleased with my shopping experience at SwimOutlet.com. Shipping was very fast, and when I wanted to return an item, their service department made it an absolute breeze! However, I must say, I did not try out the phone support, just the live chat feature.

Very disappointed. They wouldn't let me return a swim mask that I only tried once because I did try it. The swim mask was completely useless, water kept coming in. I even payed extra money to have the order shipped faster to me and it took way too long.

First, it took a month and a half to receive my bathing suit order (1 bathing suit!) Then when I had to return it because it did not fit well (it was shabbily made), they lost the returned package?!?!?! The email responses I received from the customer reps contained NO helpful information. Needless to say, I will never order from them again!!! I have never had such an unpleasant experience ordering from an online store before, and I've been doing it for 6 years.
